Key Features &Highlights - ABDM HCX Integration - Fully integrated with India's Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. - Real-time Monitoring - Enables tracking of vitals and room conditions in adherence to ONVIF specifications for critical care environments. - Medical Device Integration: Connects effortlessly with healthcare equipment using HL7 standards, ensuring interoperability and efficiency. We are driven by a purpose larger than just technology. Our products have already made a tangible difference—CARE was recognized as a 50th Digital Public Good by the United Nations, and we’ve received support from major partners like GitHub, Microsoft, and OpenAI. • CARE HMIS at the Doctor’s Desk The patient journey comes alive inside the consultation room where doctor and patient meet, and CARE HMIS quietly brings the full story to the desk. With CARE HMIS, doctors can: - View the OP encounter created at the Nursing Station, including vitals and pre-screening notes - Access previous encounters, clinical history, and patient files and reports instantly - Check allergies, past symptoms, diagnoses, and ongoing medications before prescribing - Write digital prescriptions that connect directly to the pharmacy queue - Place service requests for labs or imaging without slips or delays. This turns the consultation into a 360° view of the patient’s health journey, so decisions are faster, safer, and more informed. Training sessions capture this shift: doctors moving from scattered files to a single, living health record that stays with the patient across visits and departments. With Reception, Nursing, and now the Doctor’s Desk digitized, the CARE HMIS story is unfolding — step by step, bringing hospitals closer to seamless, patient-first care. #CARE #OpenHealthcareNetwork #DigitalHealth #HMIS #DoctorCare #PatientFirst #HealthcareInnovation

  • CARE HMIS in Action: Nursing Station Training After Reception, the patient’s journey continues at the Nursing Station and so did our training. Nursing teams are hands-on with CARE HMIS, learning how to: - Create outpatient encounters quickly and without paperwork - Assign and manage tokens across patient categories. - Capture vitals and essential pre-consultation data that doctors rely on - Keep queues flowing smoothly, reducing waiting-room stress for patients The photos capture more than training, they show how hospitals are getting ready to shift from manual, fragmented processes to a unified digital flow. For nurses, this means less time juggling registers and more time with patients. For patients, it means faster, clearer, more reliable care. The story of CARE HMIS is being written one department at a time, and today, the pen is in the nurses’ hands. #CARE #OpenHealthcareNetwork #DigitalHealth #HMIS #HealthcareInnovation #Nursing #OutpatientCare

At Open Healthcare Network, our journey from frontline need to working code has never been faster. A doctor in the field filed an issue on our GitHub repo, asking for a way to track bed availability. We added the specs, pointed it to the right APIs, and assigned it to Copilot Agent. The Agent scaffolded a working dashboard - complete with UI and validations. What once took weeks, now ships in minutes. This is our #ZeroToMergedContest story. #GitHub #OpenSource #ZeroToMerged #Healthcare

  • A New Chapter for CARE Five years ago, CARE was developed as a pandemic management tool during COVID-19. Over the years it has powered diverse healthcare use cases across India, from Tele-ICUs to palliative care networks, clinics etc supporting millions of patients and healthcare workers. Now CARE marks a new milestone, its expansion into a full-fledged FHIR powered Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). The journey begins where every patient journey starts, the Reception Desk. Reception teams are being trained on CARE HMIS to - Seamlessly register patients - Check doctor availability and schedule appointments - Automate registration and consultation fees - Generate smooth, transparent billing This reduces the administrative load for staff and ensures patients experience faster, simpler, and more reliable hospital entry. This is just the beginning, with each department trained CARE HMIS moves closer to transforming hospital workflows end to end. #CARE #OpenHealthcareNetwork #DigitalHealth #HMIS #HealthcareInnovation #Milestone
