Team PPGF is thrilled to announce the Mukherjee Fellows for the 2025-26 Cohort! We received an overwhelming 10,000+ applications from talented individuals across the country. After a rigorous, step-by-step selection process, including in-person interviews conducted in 18 cities, we are now privileged to work with select brilliant minds from across the country, bringing in a diverse set of academic, professional and personal experiences. We congratulate all the new Fellows who have now joined us as members of the Mukherjee Fellowship Family! During this process, nearly 50 evaluators were involved in the assessment of applications, associated submissions, and the candidates themselves. We also had the opportunity to thoroughly assess the candidates in in-person interviews at the final stage of selection. In-person interviews were organised in 18 cities across India. Organising in-person interviews across so many cities came with its share of challenges and initial hiccups, but we evolved and adapted to ensure a smooth and fair process. We truly appreciate the cooperation and patience of all stakeholders involved. To those who weren’t selected this year, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your enthusiasm and effort. The incredible talent we encountered was humbling, and though only a few can be chosen, this is no reflection on anyone’s potential. With the process of Mukherjee Fellowship now nearing its final rounds, the fellowship is set to commence from 4th August 2025. We thank all applicants for their patience and enthusiasm. Any communication, acceptance or rejection, will be shared within the next week. We look forward to welcoming the selected cohort soon.

We’re humbled to announce that the Mukherjee Fellowship 2025-26 has received over 10,000 applications from across the country. My deputation at the office of Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant provided me with an opportunity to actively assist in policy-making at the highest levels of the government. Working on the CM Dashboard project, I led the project team in onboarding data for over 75 schemes, 13 services and project analyses for 16 departments of the Government of Goa. To be involved in meetings and discussions with senior bureaucrats, industry leaders and the Hon'ble Chief Minister himself in coming up with policy solutions was a rewarding experience that no other initiative can match." –Omkar Arora

I was involved in the campaigns of Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat Ji, where my responsibilities included participation in coordination meetings, managing media commitments and communications, drafting confidential strategy reports, and coordinating campaign activities. A stakeholder sentiment survey I helped curate across Delhi’s constituencies became a major public engagement tool for the Leader. By streamlining over 1,130+ WhatsApp groups, we enabled more effective volunteer mobilisation and smoother information flow. I was grateful to contribute to the larger vision by assisting the West Delhi Constituency Manifesto curation and drafting talking points for the Hon’ble Prime Minister. The gracious treatment I received from the leader, her family, her supporters and the general public of West Delhi was sweetened by the Leader's victory by a tremendous margin of 1.99 lakh votes. This is something I had never anticipated! After the completion of the Fellowship, I was absorbed within India's policy-political strategy domain. For opening doors I never knew existed and trusting a 22-year-old fresher with such immense responsibility, I am deeply thankful to the Mukherjee Fellowship. –Tejaswi Singh
