  • #PurplleValuesCreativity Simran Rane's journey is a testament to the power of curiosity and creativity: “Every challenge is an opportunity to imagine, experiment, and create something new.” From a young age, she was drawn to the world of ideas. Growing up around family members in creative industries, Simran loved hearing how stories, visuals, and concepts came to life. That early fascination guided her choice to study BMM, a field where creativity could always take center stage. Right after college, she joined Glamrs by Purplle as a fresher with only textbook knowledge. Starting in audience engagement, she soon found herself scripting videos, directing shoots, and even stepping in front of the camera. Each new project became a playground for learning and experimentation. She quickly realized that creativity isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about problem-solving, trying new approaches, and pushing ideas beyond what seems possible. Over the years, her role evolved continuously. During the pandemic, she took on performance marketing and operations for a skincare brand, gaining a deeper understanding of the business side of creativity. Soon after, she stepped into production with #Purplle, collaborating closely with mentors like Sandeep Sajeev on shoots, producing beauty videos for the app, and growing the brand’s owned channels. Today, her work spans packaging, creative direction, and even experimenting with AI tools—learning and applying them to ideate faster, explore new formats, and refine creative concepts with precision. For Simran, creativity is never a solo endeavor. The best ideas emerge from collaboration, feedback, and shared curiosity. Working alongside peers like Mohana Patki and under the guidance of mentors, she has learned that a team that trusts each other can turn challenges into opportunities for innovation. Two moments stand out as defining: producing a large-scale shoot with Sara Ali Khan and leading a brand love project during a team expansion. Both required thinking on her feet, innovating under pressure, and experimenting with new approaches—and both proved that creativity thrives when combined with courage, curiosity, and collaboration.     Growth often begins with a single spark of curiosity. For Aman Raj Talwar, that spark turned into a journey that reshaped his career at Purplle. Aman’s story started with a simple fascination during his sales days — the way consumers’ choices shifted almost overnight. “One day it was sunscreen, the next it was skincare combos,” he recalls. That intrigue pushed him to look beyond sales and dive into the world of e-commerce. He began his Purplle journey as an intern in the Category team, soaking up the fundamentals of merchandising, offers, gross margins, and product launches. But what truly set Aman apart was not just his hard work, but his hunger to connect the dots. His dedication caught the eye of his mentor, Rahul Harish (Director – Category), who trusted him with a high-stakes opportunity in Media Monetisation. That trust became a turning point. Under the guidance of Parth Agarwal (Manager – Media Monetisation), Aman stepped into performance marketing, working on CPC and CPM campaigns, while collaborating with tech, KAMs, and merchandising teams. “For me, it wasn’t about ticking off tasks. I wanted to understand how the entire platform came together,” he shares. The late nights weren’t about deadlines — they were about discovery. About learning how every small decision ripples into the bigger picture. About realising that ownership and mentorship can transform an intern into a changemaker. Looking back, Aman says, “The best part wasn’t just the projects, but the people. Parth gave me ownership, and that made all the difference. I wasn’t just learning — I was contributing.” Today, Aman has returned to Purplle, this time as a Senior Executive – Customer Success. From being curious about consumer choices, he now manages high-impact ad campaigns that drive results for brands. Aman’s journey is proof that at Purplle, curiosity doesn’t just find a home — it finds wings. Because when young talent meets opportunity, growth isn’t just possible.
