A training session on "Google Business Profile and Its Importance for FPOs” was conducted on 11th October 2025 via Google Meet under the SAMP India Consortium of FPCL. The session was led by Mr. Rajan Parmar (Project Associate, SAMP India Consortium of FPCL). The training focused on understanding Googl Business Profile, its uses, importance, and significance in enhancing the digital presence and visibility of FPOs. A total of 45+ participants, including FPO CEOs and Board Directors from across Gujarat, attended the session, and 40 FPOs actively participated. The session aimed to strengthen the capacity of FPOs by encouraging them to effectively utilize digital tools for improved outreach and online recognition. The SAMP India FPO Consortium—comprising Samarth Agro, Mangalam Seeds Limited, Kashvin Seeds Private Limited, and Pashupati Cotspin Limited—proudly participated in the recent nationwide agricultural event where over 70 FPOs and more than 2,000 farmer shareholders, including both male and female farmers, joined together to witness this historic occasion. During the event, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated agricultural projects worth over ₹42,000 crore to the nation’s Annadatas under the theme “Respect for the Annadatas, Construction of a Prosperous Nation – A Historic Initiative Towards Farmer Empowerment.” The launch of the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Atmanirbharta in Pulses, along with the inauguration of over 1,100 agricultural projects, marks a transformative step for India’s farming community. To ensure maximum farmer participation, our consortium facilitated live viewing through projectors, laptops, and televisions, enabling farmers to connect and benefit from this initiative. It was truly inspiring to see the collective enthusiasm and hope among farmers as we move together toward a more prosperous and self-reliant agricultural future. At SAMP India Consortium of Farmer Producer Companies Ltd., an insightful training session titled “Leveraging LinkedIn for FPOs” was conducted to enhance the digital presence of FPO leaders. Our respected Project Associate, Mr. Rajan Parmar, explained the importance of LinkedIn and demonstrated how FPO members can use it effectively to build networks, share achievements, and explore opportunities. 🌱 Capacity Building in Action! 🌱 From 22nd to 26th September 2025, a Capacity Building Training Programme for Directors and Stakeholders of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in Maharashtra was jointly organised by ATMA, Nandurbar (Maharashtra) and the Extension Education Institute (Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India), Anand Agricultural University, Anand at EEI, Anand. As part of the programme, participants visited Stambhtirth fpcl , Vadola (Khambhat, Anand District), gaining valuable insights into the diverse activities managed by the Farmer Producer Organisation. Mr. Parth Ghetiya (District Manager, Samarth Agriculture), along with Mr. Rakeshbhai and Mr. Gireshbhai (Board Members), extended a warm welcome to the participants and shared detailed information about the FPO’s operations and initiatives. On 13th September 2025, SAMP India Consortium of Farmer Producer Companies Limited, Ahmedabad, in collaboration with College of Agriculture, NAU, Campus Bharuch – Navsari Agricultural University, organized an insightful online training program for FPO Board Members and CEOs focused on "Value Addition in Vegetable and Fruit Crops." The training was graced by esteemed subject matter expert Dr. Sandipkumar L. Sangani (Assistant Professor,Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, NAU, Bharuch), who shared detailed knowledge about value-added products and techniques in fruits and vegetables. We were also honored by the presence of Dr. D.D.
