About us

Established in 1941, Sayaji Industries Ltd. or SIL found its humble beginnings in Ahmedabad as a corn wet milling unit with a modest corn crushing capacity of one ton/day, catering our own textile units & others located in the city. 70 years later and with offices setup in more than five cities, we’ve dealt with corn in a variety of ways. Our curiosity to learn more about corn has helped us develop better products, thus making us the front runners of the corn wet mining business. Throughout the years, SIL has been recognized with a number of achievements such as; in 1976, due to our production of import substitute products, we helped our country by saving a substantial amount in foreign exchange, and hence, the Government of India recognized this major contribution by awarding us with the National Award for Import Substitution. Also, SIL was granted the Export House Status by the Joint Director of Foreign Trade. It is this never-ending commitment to providing quality products that has brought us fame, recognition and also the ISO 9001:2008 certification as the largest exporter in the Indian starch industry.
