SISA’s quantum experts recently delivered a Certified Quantum Security Professional (CQSP) workshop for the PayNet (Payments Network Malaysia) team at their headquarters.   CQSP is the world’s first ANAB-accredited certification in quantum security, built to prepare cybersecurity professionals for the quantum computing era. Our instructors, Avinash Selvamani and Dito Kannan, led the sessions, with Balaji EM facilitating this specialised training for our partners at PayNet.   As advances in quantum computing threaten traditional encryption, CQSP equips participants with practical skills in quantum-safe cryptography, risk assessment, and alignment to evolving global standards from NIST, ISO, and ETSI. By investing in CQSP today, the PayNet (Payments Network Malaysia) team has shown real commitment to protecting customer data against tomorrow’s threats.   Find out more about our CQSP certification here: https://lnkd.in/gGa5TKwZ   #CQSP #QuantumSecurity #Cybersecurity #Malaysia.

X marked the spot at SISA's Cyber Defense Centre on Friday.    Teams sprinted across bays, cracked clues, and chased the next hint like true detectives. The Cybersecurity Treasure Hunt did exactly what we hoped: got everyone thinking about cyber basics, working together, and having a fun while they did it.    We'd like to thank to every SISAite who jumped in, kept it friendly, fast & fun and also congratulate the winners of the event!.   #CorporateFun #treasurehunt #Cyberhunt #EmployeeActivity

On October 9th, SISA had the privilege of participating as an expert speaker at the Cyber Roadshow event, hosted at AirAsia’s global headquarters in Malaysia. The event was designed to arm employees with the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe from the ever-evolving landscape of online threats.   Our team, including Mahendran Chandramohan, CISM, SVP and Head of Engineering & SISA Sappers, Mukesh H Khanwani, Head - SEA, Balaji EM -Country Manager, SISA, and Henry Chia Jing Herng - Associate Consultant, SISA, were on-site to contribute and engage with the audience. Mahendran took centre stage, delivering a thought-provoking session on the topic: "Smarter Attacks, Bigger Risks: AI in the Hands of Hackers." His talk explored how malicious actors are using AI to enhance the speed and precision of cyberattacks, making them more dangerous and harder to detect. He also shared valuable insights from recent SISA Sappers forensic investigations, illustrating the real-world impact of these evolving threats.   We would like to thank Jane Wong, Norman Leong, AS Zakri A Hamid, Hua Jun Yong, Pugenes Steffie S. and Fahmy Aziz from the AirAsia team for enabling SISA's participation at the event.   Watch the video to check out SISA's participation at the event.   #Cyberroadshow #AirAsia #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth

What if you couldn’t trust your own eyes or ears? That is the risk with deepfakes, hyper-realistic videos and voices created by AI to mimic people you know, including company leaders.   At SISA, our mission goes beyond protecting enterprises. We are building a digitally secure society by helping people recognise and respond to evolving threats. This #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth, we are focusing on deepfakes, the new face of deception.   These AI-generated fakes are used for fraud, misinformation, and manipulation. Stay alert. Be sceptical of unexpected video calls or voice messages asking for information. Always verify through official channels before sharing any details. Report suspicious media to your security team right away.   Awareness is your best defence. Stay informed and stay secure.   #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #Deepfakes #AISecurity #CyberAwareness

Building an Atmanirbhar Bharat, one initiative at a time.   As India strengthens its focus on technological self-reliance, SISA is proud to have contributed to that vision through our collaboration with the Government of India (GoI), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and CERT-In in launching the country’s first whitepaper on Transitioning to Quantum Cyber Readiness.   The initiative set a national precedent for proactive quantum preparedness — showcasing how India’s cybersecurity community can lead the way in securing India's digital infrastructure.   At the launch, Shri S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, spoke on the significance of building resilience ahead of Q-Day, while Dharshan Shanthamurthy, Founder & CEO, SISA, emphasised how collaboration between Indian organisations and Indian cybersecurity partners is key to achieving a truly self-sufficient, secure, and future-ready Bharat.   Read the whitepaper here: https://lnkd.in/dSmaR8WQ  Digital India Programme #AtmanirbharBharat #Cybersecurity #Quantum #Whitepaper

With the aim of creating a digitally secure society, SISA's mission goes beyond protecting enterprises.   This #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth, we’re sharing simple, practical actions you can take to protect yourself and your organisation online. Today’s tip focuses on AI safety. Remember: what you feed AI, it learns.    When you share client data, source code, or confidential information with public AI tools, you risk exposing sensitive data to external systems and future users.   Avoid entering passwords or proprietary details, treat public AI tools like a “public forum,” and always use secure, approved platforms for AI experiments. Stay smart, stay cautious, and keep your data in safe hands.   #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #AISecurity #DataProtection
