Global electricity investment is undergoing a historic transformation. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), global spending on electricity continues to evolve and the trend is unmistakable: ✅ Spending on low-emissions power generation and batteries has more than doubled since 2015. ✅ Investment in solar PV is projected to be over 3× higher in 2025 than it was a decade ago. Solar and grids now lead the global electricity investment landscape signaling a decisive shift from fossil-based power systems toward renewable, decentralized, and resilient energy ecosystems. For the first time on record, renewable energy sources produced more electricity than coal in the first half of 2025. This marks a turning point in the global energy transition, a moment when the collective investments, innovations, and policies of the past decade are beginning to reshape the energy landscape at scale. 🔸 Renewables (solar, wind, hydro, bioenergy, and geothermal) generated over 4,900 TWh globally from January to June 2025 surpassing coal’s contribution for the very first time. 🔸 The world’s grids are becoming cleaner, more resilient, and increasingly decentralized. At the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), he contributed as Solar PV Technical Support, leading the design and evaluation of rooftop solar PV projects that delivered both environmental and community benefits. His experience at Pertamina Foundation as Staff Project Carbon further highlights his ability to integrate sustainability principles into project development, from crafting rigorous quality plans to establishing SOPs for conservation driven initiatives.
