I have researched lots of product-based companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, Paytm, J.P. Most colleges are still “waiting” on AI agents. Sreenidhi’s SDC SNIST community chose to lead. Honoured to be invited as a guest to run a hands-on workshop on n8n Automations at Sreenidhi College. This is the first college I’ve seen step up and initiate a dedicated agents + automations workshop for students—and the response was incredible. Students were deeply engaged, asked sharp questions, and jumped straight into building. “Understood the basics of n8n and automations quickly—and built a few workflows during the workshop.” What we focused on: - How agentic workflows map cleanly in n8n (from trigger to deployment) - Turning repetitive tasks into hands-free automations - Clean, minimal stacks students can maintain without big budgets I’m grateful to the SDC community for the initiative and to every student who showed up to learn, experiment, and ship. This software engineer joined Amazon as an SDE-2 after seven years of starting his career and accomplished his dream in 2025. From working as a freelancer to cracking Groww and Upstox to now Amazon… → Background ○ 7 years of experience ○ Decided to aim for FAANG in 2025. ○ Cold-applied to Amazon. The recruiter replied within 24 hours. ○ Offer: 40LPA+ → OA & DSA Prep ○ Cleared the online assessment (OA) easily. One of the Leetcode questions had already come up in prep; the other was straightforward. ○ Key: Had already solved 700+ Leetcode questions. Held the 365-day streak badge. ○ Practiced DSA every day for a year. “Every 100 problems, his skills leveled up.” ○ For DSA, he studied pattern-wise. If you want to solve problems fast and with solid accuracy, you need to think in patterns. Without patterns, you can solve every problem in an interview that you’ve seen once, but once you see a new problem, you will get stuck. Sometimes, it's a classic problem in disguise. → Study Tips ○ If you’re stuck, don’t waste hours reinventing the wheel.
