    Globally, a considerable number of people experience sleep problems like insomnia, low-quality sleep, and trouble initiating or maintaining sleep. Concurrently, chronic stress and anxiety are prevalent, frequently exacerbating sleep difficulties. Current approaches to address sleep and stress typically include pharmaceutical interventions such as hypnotics, sedatives, and stress-relief medications. However, these approaches often fail to address the underlying causes of stress or poor sleep and are generally not recommended for long-term use due to associations with dependence, withdrawal symptoms, and various side effects. While natural and topical remedies, including essential oils, are explored for their calming properties, many traditional topical applications lack the targeted delivery and optimized absorption necessary to achieve significant systemic effects for sleep and stress management. Furthermore, existing oil-based formulations often rely on basic blends without a scientific approach to optimizing active ingredients, selecting appropriate carrier oils for transdermal efficacy, or establishing precise dosing protocols.

    In Ayurveda, the nabhi (navel) is viewed as a central energy hub. It is associated with the Manipura chakra and is believed to have connections to roughly 72,000 nadis, or subtle energy pathways, that spread across the body. This ancient practice of Nabhi Chikitsa (navel therapy) suggests a unique potential for targeted therapeutic delivery. Considering the shortcomings of conventional sleep and stress relief products, the growing demand for natural and non-pharmacological alternatives, and the promising traditional and emerging understanding of navel therapy's potential for absorption, there is a clear unmet need for a natural, non-invasive, and effective solution.

Current approaches to address digestive and detoxification issues include use of oral medications and supplements, dietary modifications and lifestyle changes. Additionally, many commercial products are either too harsh or lack proper formulation to ensure effective and safe use.
