His career also includes leadership positions as Chief Information Security Officer at Infosys and HDFC Bank, Partner – Cyber Security at PwC, and senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, each contributing to his strong foundation in policy development, risk management, and enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs. In addition to corporate leadership, Vishal has actively contributed to the cybersecurity ecosystem through his role as Independent Director at the Data Security Council of India and as an advisor to emerging ventures. At Cognizant, he will now lead global cybersecurity strategy, enhance threat protection capabilities, and strengthen digital trust for enterprises worldwide.
