    In this project we address the problem of interactive gaming using Microsoft's Kinect sensors. Kinect is a 3D sensor which gives the depth information of the scene with the help of its infrared ray projector and infrared camera. We use the depth of the scene given by sensor to control the actions of users in three dimensions to control the gaming environment.     In this project we address the problem of interactive gaming using Microsoft's Kinect sensors. Kinect is a 3D sensor which gives the depth information of the scene with the help of its infrared ray projector and infrared camera. We use the depth of the scene given by sensor to control the actions of users in three dimensions to control the gaming environment. Here we control the virtual world as we do in the physical world, and the user feels as if he is inside the game i.e. in virtual gaming environment. The data of a user is extracted from the sensor to get feature points on the body which form skeleton called Avatar. The 3D motion of the Avatar is analyzed to determine the gestures that user uses to control the game. We demonstrate this new way of controlling a game with the help of a car test driving game.

Tracking hand articulation using only Kinect is well executed within 1 meter range. We effectively combine the Kinect skeleton data and the flex hand articulation data by registering skeleton hand point with the hand model. We demonstrate the proposed method by interacting with the virtual graphical world using Kinect and flex sensors.
