📊 Less than half of students worldwide feel ready for life beyond school — a new global survey by Cambridge University Press & Assessment raises urgent questions for educators, parents, and policymakers. 🔹 The report, Preparing Learners to Thrive in a Changing World, draws insights from 3,800 students and 3,000+ teachers across 150 countries (including India). 🔹 Findings reveal a readiness gap: Only 45% of students felt prepared for life beyond school. Teachers are more optimistic — two-thirds believe their students are ready for their next step. While subject knowledge remains vital for exams, leadership, self-management, and communication skills rank highest for life after school. 💡 For India, this is a wake-up call. Students express uncertainty about their future beyond short-term plans, while teachers highlight challenges like shrinking attention spans, social anxiety, and the impact of technology on interpersonal skills. 👉 At ALLEN, we believe that true education goes beyond exam success.
