Immediate Reaction of Layoffs is Imposter Syndrome ! If you got impacted by layoffs, remember 1. There are so many reasons a company has to do layoffs. It’s part of business and may not be related to your performance. 2. If you were marked Under Performer in last few Appraisal Cycles - there could be multiple reasons for that.. poor leadership, high complexity of work, bad environment, lack of learning, personal situation etc etc and not all of these would be in your control. So, give yourself a Benefit of Doubt and Keep Going 🙌 Not all Companies are same..Not all Managers are same..Not all projects are same. Things will work out for sure 👍

Dismissing India as a MAU / DAU farm with no revenue potential for foreign companies is a broad generalization which lacks nuance. ElevenLabs' second largest market by enterprise revenue is India. That's because India is voice-first. India is a top-5 revenue country for Krafton, a major video game producer with hits like PUBG. That's because India is mobile-first in terms of gaming. Yes, India is tough to monetize but the opportunity exists for out-of-the-box thinkers who are willing to be patient.

The H-1B lottery may never be the same. DHS is rolling out a proposal that could flip the system on its head by FY2026. And it could completely reshape the system by FY2026. Here is the big shift: Weighted wage selection. Every H-1B role is tied to one of 4 wage levels (based on the job code + geography). → Level I = 17th percentile wage (1 ticket in the lottery) → Level II = 34th percentile wage (2 tickets) → Level III = 50th percentile wage (3 tickets) → Level IV = 67th percentile wage (4 tickets) Higher wage level = higher odds of selection. On paper, this is fair play. In practice, the consequences cut in many directions. Who loses: → International new grads. Schools with heavy MS/MEng enrollment could take a major hit. → Startups. Equity does not count toward wage levels. What this really means: The system will reward companies that can pay more in actual terms. It will punish international students starting. And it will put new pressure on mid-career Americans as higher-paid H-1Bs enter the market. This NPRM has a 60% chance of being in effect by FY2026. The H-1B landscape is about to shift.
