Background: While content creation and monetisation of STAR India's channels were managed out of India. Technology, corporate finance and the international channel business continued to be operated out of Hong Kong. Newscorp decided to allow India to run as a completely independent entity which managed all its business

Launching STAR India HD Network

Launched STAR India's first HD network by launching HD version of STAR Plus, STAR Gold, STAR Movies and STAR World
- Involved an end to end transformation of content creation, acquisition and management processes
- Working with Dolby to lead an industry wide upgrade of sound engineering skills
- Working with content producers and partners to upgrade their own creation processes
- Working with DTH platforms on pricing marketing and launch of HD channels
