Delhi NCR-based #proptech startup Square Yards is gearing up for its public debut with a planned INR 2,000 Cr (approx. $233 Mn) #IPO, expected to be filed between December 2025 and March 2026. According to sources, the offering will include a fresh issue and offer-for-sale (OFS) in equal parts, and the startup is currently in the process of finalizing investment bankers. It is yet to decide between the confidential filing route or a traditional #DRHP submission. Founded in 2014 by husband-wife duo Tanuj Shori and Kanika Gupta Shori, Square Yards has built an integrated platform covering the entire real estate lifecycle—from property search and financing to interiors and property management. What sets Square Yards apart is its global revenue footprint. Over 25% of its revenue comes from #international markets, including the #MiddleEast, #Australia, and #Canada. In FY25, the company clocked ₹1,400 Cr in operating revenue, with a gross profit of ₹316 Cr. It now targets ₹2,000 Cr revenue and ₹200 Cr EBITDA for FY26. If successful, the IPO could place Square Yards in the elite club of Indian startups to go public while founders retain more than 50% stake. After showing signs of recovery in the final week of August, Indian startup funding surged further in the first week of September. Twenty startups cumulatively raised $186.1 Mn in the first six days of September, a 90% jump from $98.2 Mn secured across 18 deals last week.👇 🔸Ecommerce startups dominated the funding trend this week, with eight startups securing $78.8 Mn. Elevation Capital launches $400 million late-stage fund to back IPO-bound startups 📌 Venture capital firm Elevation Capital, known for early bets on Paytm, Swiggy, Meesho, and Urban Company, is entering new territory. The firm has launched a $400 million fund focused on late-stage tech companies preparing for IPOs. ● The vehicle, called Elevation Holding, will cut cheques between $20 million and $50 million across 10–15 companies, Elevation Capital co-managing partner Mukul Arora told ET. ● This new fund will primarily back companies in the consumer and financial services segments with a technology focus, Arora added. ● The fund will run in parallel with its Fund VIII, a $670 million early-stage vehicle that invests $2–5 million in startups.
