The National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Centre (NCIIPC), under the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), in partnership with Startup India (DPIIT), has launched the NCIIPC Startup India AI Grand Challenge 2025. This national-level initiative seeks to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to develop cutting-edge solutions for India’s critical security infrastructure. Launched during the Startup Mahakumbh (3rd–5th April 2025), the challenge is themed “Responsible AI for National Security” and invites applications from both established startups and student groups aiming to transition into entrepreneurial ventures. Participants will work on 12 mission-critical problem statements, addressing areas such as cybersecurity, satellite imagery, multilingual data processing, and domain-specific intelligence. The program offers total prize money worth ₹22.56 Crore, to be awarded in three stages, along with expert mentorship and in-house incubation support. The last date to register is 14th August 2025.
