ServiceNow has launched ServiceNow University in India with an ambitious goal to skill one million learners in AI by 2027. The announcement was made at the company’s first AI Skills Summit in Hyderabad, which attracted 1,200 students in person and over 20,000 virtually. India, one of ServiceNow’s fastest-growing markets, is now at the center of its global plan to train three million people in AI. Sumeet Mathur, senior vice president and MD of ServiceNow India technology and business centre, highlighted the urgency of the initiative, saying, “Organisations are adopting AI at record speed, but there simply aren’t enough skilled professionals to power this transformation. That uncertainty is exactly what ServiceNow University is designed to address.” The platform offers free, gamified, and AI-personalised learning, with bite-sized courses, digital credentials, and India-focused career pathways such as software development, data engineering, and security operations. ServiceNow University also integrates with universities, government skill programs, and regulatory bodies like AICTE to expand access. Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, MD and GVP of ServiceNow India and SAARC, emphasized the evolving demand for AI skills, noting that AI may shift roles away from pure coding to business-tech-commercial skills. He reaffirmed his commitment to the initiative, stating that training one million Indian learners by 2027 is part of ServiceNow’s broader global goal of skilling three million people.

After the acquisition closes, Salesforce plans to integrate Regrello with Agentforce and Slack, helping customers transform manual, inefficient activities into agentic automations that increase the velocity and quality of critical business processes.
