Documentation, rigid eligibility criteria, and credit scores leave many farmers, shopkeepers, and entrepreneurs out of the formal financial system, despite their clear need and potential. This is where #AIforRuralIndia (AIR) can be a game changer. - Imagine a farmer applying for credit in his local dialect, guided by a simple voice interface. - Imagine repayment plans that match harvest cycles, not rigidly fixed EMIs. - Imagine trust built through alternative data, like mobile usage or cash-flow behaviour, when formal history is absent.
