Activity Recognition and Indoor Localization using Smartphone sensors
Mentor: Prof. T V Prabhakar & Prof. H.S. Jamadagni
Recognize activities done by the user when the person is carrying the mobile in pocket by using the data collected from those sensors.
Build Indoor localization platform localize a person inside a building by an accuracy of 1ft radius without using GPS.
Technology Used: IoT, Machine Learning -

Analytics on Streaming data from Environmental Sensors
Implemented Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA) model to predict weather parameters.
The Steam Analytics was implemented on Apache Storm by streaming data from a public data source.
The model was designed to predict weather parameter like temperate, humidity, dust concentration by studying last 1-year historical data of a particular geo location.
Technology Used: BigData analytics, Steam processing, Apache Storm, Microsoft Azure cluster -

Dynamic Time Warping and U-Shapelets in Multidimensional Time Series Data Clustering
Implemented Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) and U-shapelets mechanism on multi variant time series climate data to derive inference on climate change and prediction.
Proposed adaptive method to decide between DTW Dependent or DTW Independent
Technology Used: Machine Learning -

Gesture Recognition and Rendering mouse pointer using IMU Sensor
Mentor: Prof. Haresh Dagale
Recognize gesture drawn by IMU sensor module (like drawing circle or rectangle, pointing to right or left)
Controlling mouse pointer by moving IMU sensor module. Provide an interactive interface so that people without hand can operate computer using the Air Mouse we have built.
Technology Used: Wearable Device, IMU Sensor, Machine Learning, Embedded System
