We’re excited to back Mithila Foods, a modern Indian food brand bringing authentic, high-protein regional staples from India’s Mithila region to homes across the country. Indian food is deeply regional. But most FMCG brands have been built from metros, with generic products and lack of authenticity. Despite a massive demand for clean, culturally-rooted foods, staples like sattu, roasted chana, and katarni chuda have remained unbranded and inaccessible to most Indian consumers. This is especially true outside their home states. Mithila Foods changes that. Founded by Shubham Sunderka, Ankit kumar, and Anshu Kumar, the team is building a brand that combines authenticity with execution.
