C2C offers many free courses and guest lectures in various subjects with help of volunteers coming from different fields and expertise. C2C bridges the gap by bringing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from the global industry closer to the academia by providing ‘Entrepreneurship & Technical Education' which helps train students for successful careers in the rapidly advancing technological world.
C2C aims to focus on management studies, electronics, computer science & related disciplines. The different activities in the platform include – authoring text books, creation of course material coupled with lectures and lab work, and to teach management concepts to undergraduate and graduate management students through case studies for better connect from theoretical to apply in real life business situations.
C2C strengthens channel partnership, fund scholarships & rewards, sponsor various events and support labs in institutions.

Primary indicators used to measure Socio-economic development are GDP, life expectancy, literacy and levels of employment. Secondary indicators which are less tangible factors also needs to be considered. Participation index in civil society is one of them. Teachers engagement with students to improve the particiation index of students is the focus of this paper. Student centred engagement model breaks away from the traditional models that have been prevalent for centuries to engage with the student. The conventional method is traditionally a heavy instructor-dependent relationship. Students are conditioned to rely on the daily injection of course material dispensed from the lectern in doses carefully calibrated to fill each scheduled class period. Throughout, they race to copy notes, PowerPoint presentations, and whiteboard scribblings spoon-fed to them by the "Sage on the Stage" (King, 1993, p.30). The students in the 21st century, need a model which calls for student engagement, immersion, role play and personal responsibility. One way to achieve this is to implement the LEVER model. LEVER stands for Lifelong Learner, Equal player, Value delivery, Evaluate and Respect. I know that these words sound like disparate words strung together, but I will explain them in context and they will fall into place.

Mentoring is important for the recruitment and retention of competent faculty, their ongoing career development, and leadership development. However, what are current best practices of mentoring? The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of a model for excellence in establishing a formal mentoring program for MBA faculty. Key themes which are adopted from corporate learning and development practices highlight best practices in mentoring which can be implemented back into the formal mentoring program. Themes identified aim to establish clear mentorship purpose and goals, solidify the mentor relationship, advocate for and mentor and mentee, integrate the mentee into the academic culture, and mobilize institutional resources for mentoring support. By implementing these themes mentors achieve important outcomes from their mentees, such as orientation to the educator role, integration into the academic community, development of teaching, scholarship, and service skills, as well as leadership development. The proposed model can be implemented for faculty teaching in a variety of MBA colleges albeit types and sizes. With this style and model of mentoring, it assists faculty members to better navigate the academic environment and more easily transition to new roles and responsibilities.

Motivation of the paper is to look at all the newer strategies employed by corporate companies around Sustainability. Of the three key areas of sustainability – Economic Sustainability, Society Sustainability and Environmental Sustainability, this paper focuses on the environmental sustainability. With an aim of Environmental sustainability to focus on environment protection, adaptation of the condition of resource and environment, including controlling pollution, improving the environmental quality and employing renewable resources in a sustainable way, we look at the practices adopted worldwide and newer paradigms required to maintain an edge.
To manage an effective environmental footprint, one needs to focus on improving energy efficiently and quality of resource use to achieve green operation. Green development, cyclic development and low carbon development are the part of measurement metrics. Today we see more and more companies linking sustainability management to business strategy. Environmental price being paid directly or indirectly has entered lexicon of business in serious manner in past few decades. The level of consciousness on these matters is probably highest at this point in modern human history. This is translated to 18 sutras which will help slow down the degradation of Environment.
These sutra’s need immediate attention to slow down the environmental damages and hopefully, prevent catastrophic damage called by Tipping point where environment starts harming life as we know it instead of sustaining it. Proposed paper will also cover examples of projects around the world, which symbolize these sutras. Few examples relevant to present stage of India’s industrial development will be listed and case will be made for alternative narratives in business decision making to make progress more sustainable.
