On positive note: RMG Games getting banned might have a long term positive impact on Indian Gaming industry. It could bring more focus on building high quality engaging games, investing in tech, experimenting with new ideas and pushing the bar to worlds class. India's animation industry is witnessing a groundbreaking achievement with the success of "Mahavatar Narsimha," the country's highest-grossing animated film. Unlike productions from industry giants like Disney and Marvel, this cinematic marvel emerged from a humble studio, overcoming immense challenges over five years, including navigating through two COVID lockdowns. Director Ashwin Kumar and his dedicated team poured their hearts and souls into this project, risking everything from their savings to even mortgaging their home. Despite facing numerous rejections, their unwavering belief in the narrative and animation quality drove them forward. As Kumar aptly puts it, "This is not a cartoon; it’s for grown-ups too." The core motivation behind this ambitious endeavor was to shatter the notion that Indian animation is solely tailored for children. Their vision extended to creating India's inaugural animated cinematic universe, drawing inspiration from mythology while aiming to stand shoulder to shoulder with global titans like Disney and Marvel.
