This Durga Puja, Kolkata is showing how tradition and technology can coexist beautifully.   Artisans in Kumartuli are using AI tools like ChatGPT to explore new designs for idols and pandals, blending centuries-old craftsmanship with modern creativity.   From neon-painted idols to imaginative AI-inspired motifs, every piece reflects a dialogue between heritage and innovation.   Some community clubs have even made AI the theme of their pandals, with life-size robots, IT-inspired backdrops, and vibrant AI-driven designs.   As Subal Paul, a club secretary, reflects, the old order has changed, and whether it is a blessing or a challenge, technology is undeniably shaping cultural celebrations.   What is inspiring is that AI is enhancing tradition, not replacing it.   Kolkata’s festival demonstrates how creativity, devotion, and innovation can come together, offering a glimpse of how our cultural heritage can evolve while staying soulful and engaging. #durgapooja #ai

These NPOs, NGOs and Community Based organizations are mission driven, supports SDGs in India and are considered important pillar of country's socio-economic development. They provide employment to more than 10 million people directly and indirectly. Microsoft through its #MicrosoftElevate initiative, in partnership with EY GDS and CSRBOX announced 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐈 𝐄𝐫𝐚: #AI4Everyone   The initiative aims at equipping NGOs / IGOs, Nonprofit organizations, and Community Based Organizations and their leadership towards digital and AI adoption, thereby improving their operational efficiency, scale their impact and drive meaningful & inclusive societal impact through responsible usage of technology.
