Gujarat Cyber Crime Unit Achieves a Major Breakthrough! The Gujarat Cyber Crime Unit has successfully conducted a massive operation in Surat, cracking down on cyber financial fraudsters. Here's a summary of their remarkable achievement: - Magnitude of Fraud: Approximately ₹804 Crore (₹804,94,78,699) was involved in the scams. - Accused Caught: 10 individuals have been apprehended in connection with these crimes. - Fraud Accounts:A staggering 482 accounts were used for fraudulent activities. - Crimes Registered: 1549 crimes were registered on the 1930 portal, with 22 FIRs filed across the country. - Crimes in Gujarat:141 crimes were registered on the 1930 portal, with 3 FIRs filed in Ahmedabad (2) and Morbi (1). - Fraud Amount in Gujarat:Approximately ₹17.75 Crore was lost to these scams in Gujarat. India’s Joint Doctrine for Cyberspace Operations is a landmark achievement. It’s clear, ambitious, and rooted in digital reality. The central message is powerful: India must control its own cyber infrastructure to be truly independent. This level of strategic thinking puts India ahead of most nations. Many countries still treat cyber issues as just another IT problem. India understands something deeper: cyber is a full domain of national power.
