Gurugram-based angel investment platform Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) has launched 'IPV International, a $110 million Category I Angel Fund registered under GIFT City’s IFSCA (International Financial Services Centres Authority) framework. The first close of the fund happened in April 2025. The firm said the fund has made the first investment in Cellivate Technologies, a Singapore-based deeptech startup working on replacing fetal bovine serum with a patented, ethical, and scalable cell-based alternative using magnetic stimulation, targeting biotech, pharma, and beyond. #Update Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), an Indian angel investment platform, has launched IPV International, a new USD 110 million fund. Registered as a Category I Angel Fund under GIFT City's IFSCA, it's now operational, broadening cross-border investment access for global and domestic investors. The fund, which saw its first close in April 2025, has already invested in Singapore-based deeptech startup Cellivate Technologies. While sector-agnostic, IPV International will focus on high-growth areas, targeting early to pre-Series A startups with ticket sizes from USD 100,000 to USD 1 million. Restaurant POS and management software provider Petpooja has raised ₹137 crore ($15.5 million) in its Series C round led by Dharana Capital, with participation from Helion Ventures co-founder Ashish Gupta and Urban Company’s co-founders Abhiraj Singh Bhal and Varun Khaitan. The round values the Ahmedabad-based company at around ₹910 crore ($103 million), marking a 3.5x jump from its previous valuation.
