Parkinson's Disease affects millions, yet tools for home-based symptom management remain limited. Falls due to impaired gait have a disproportionate impact on quality of life, and traditional care models offer little support between clinical visits. Lifespark Technologies, a League of 10 winner at the #Emerge50Awards, has developed WALK, a wearable mobility aid that changes how patients manage their condition at home.   WALK uses muscle stimulation to improve gait, paired with a digital platform that delivers analytics and personalized therapies. It gives patients a self-management tool similar to a glucometer in diabetes, something measurable and actionable that keeps them connected to their care team. To date, WALK has provided over 10,000 hours of therapy and prevented nearly 1,000 falls, demonstrating real-world impact for people living with neurological conditions.   The journey ahead involves expanding into new markets and additional conditions like stroke. Lifespark plans to obtain international regulatory approvals and extend its platform to serve more patients who need accessible, home-based rehabilitation solutions. It's about making healthcare more intuitive and less dependent on frequent hospital visits.
