We successfully passed the surveillance and extension audit, carried out to verify that the group’s areas are managed responsibly according to FSC® standards by CSI S.p.A. A big thank you to our long-standing members, who have once again confirmed their commitment and the quality of their forest management, and a warm welcome (and congratulations) to our new members: COMUNE DI SACILE, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐢 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐚, and 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, for achieving certification. Our group now includes 𝟑𝟐 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 and a total certified forest area of around 𝟖,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬! Today our CEO and co-founder, Alessandro Leonardi, is in Helsinki at the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 & 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 (EBNS). Why? #EBNS is the only event organised by the European Commission focused on the nature-positive economy. It brings together Europe’s business and finance community to inspire and drive transformative action towards a nature-positive future. As a consulting company with long-standing expertise in this field, we always take part in this event to connect with other companies and organisations leading the nature-positive economy, sharing experiences, insights, and best practices! 📌 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲: Hing Kin Lee, Group Lead for Nature at NextEnergy Group, presented their Nature Strategy: a pioneering project on which we have worked together. It is showcased as an inspiring example of how integrating nature into corporate strategies strengthens business resilience and sustainable growth. We shared our experience in building and leading multi-stakeholder partnerships for biodiversity protection and restoration during the technical session organised by Fauna & Flora. It was a valuable opportunity to discuss how we can strengthen collaboration for nature. 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 *EBNS* 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞? Watch the livestream! Have you ever found yourself in a brainstorming session full of confusion and no concrete ideas? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟑 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 👇 We don’t talk about it often, but having a 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦, especially when active participation is required, really makes a difference. A great example is the final #Hackathon of the European project 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄, of which we are a partner. The project promotes tourism as a tool to create shared value and strengthen the connection between communities, territories, and visitors from a regenerative perspective. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭? Four teams from Italy and Austria. 24 hours to find concrete solutions to the challenges of Alpine tourism. Four ideas that are relevant, feasible, and regenerative. ‼️ In this kind of context, made up of people working together for the first time, coming from different backgrounds, where time is short and thinking fast is essential, three skills become crucial: 🖍️ 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: applying facilitation and design thinking techniques to guide and focus creativity, making collaboration more effective and diversity a real strength. 🌱 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞: having people who know the topic deeply and can guide groups through the more technical aspects. 📢 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬: creating an accessible, welcoming, and dynamic space, while ensuring that the right information flows before, during, and after the event. As a project partner, #Etifor involved its experts in facilitation (Sofia Caiolo and Riccardo Da Re), regenerative tourism (Alessia Fiorentino, Serena De Franceschi, and Diego Gallo), and communication and event management (Martina Doppio and Valentina Romanin). Thanks to their extensive experience, they contributed to the success of the event and, as you can see from the video, it looks like they had a great time too! A special thank for the warm welcome and help to the 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐳𝐢𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨

𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 "𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 👇 For ten years now, once a year, the entire Etifor team takes two full days away from daily operations and our office to focus all our energy on long-term strategy. We like to call it “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲”. This year, we are in 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥, in the municipality of Belluno (Italy), focusing on how to face the major changes we are experiencing and those required of us as a growing company with increasingly structured services. 🤔 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭? At #Etifor, we strongly believe in participatory processes, shared management, personal and group responsibility, trust, and the diverse skills of each team member. As in any healthy #ecosystem, everyone within our company can contribute through their role and expertise to shaping our long-term strategy. We’re fully aware of the business cost of focusing for two days on strategy, but over the years we’ve learned to “𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬”, and it works for us. 💭 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤? Do you also have moments in your company dedicated to participatory strategy? Would you like to, or do you find it unnecessary? We’d love to hear from you 👇 #Etifor #valuingnature

This week, part of Etifor’s sustainable tourism team attended the Hospitality Day and the TTG Travel Experience - ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP, two of the most important tourism events in Italy. As always, these events are a great opportunity to meet people, exchange ideas, and understand how the tourism ecosystem is evolving. One of our main focuses was on the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) standards, which guide sustainable management in hospitality businesses. 🚴♀️ During the event, the certificate was awarded to the 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨–𝐎𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐞, the first GSTC-certified cycling route in the world, a milestone we proudly supported throughout the certification process. 🧳 We also joined the panel dedicated to the 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐚, the first art city in Italy to obtain GSTC certification, which we also proudly supported. We’re proud to observe and contribute to the growth of #sustainabletourism in #Italy, standing alongside those who are committed to applying best practices and creating meaningful experiences for their territories. 👏 Federica Bosco, Serena De Franceschi, Francesco Loreggian and Omar Maragno

Last week, our co-founders Alessandro Leonardi and Lucio Brotto took part in the 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢, an international event bringing together professionals from all over the world to promote concrete actions for 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and to develop innovative solutions to the world’s major environmental challenges. 👉 #Etifor contributed with its expertise in 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and in engaging the private sector in 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜–𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 that generate high environmental impact. 🌱 During the week, we also joined Asocaña’s event dedicated to ecological corridors, as partners of the ambitious project to restore 980 km of the Cauca River Corridor, a vital biodiversity infrastructure within one of the region’s most critical ecosystems. 🧬 We took part in a private session on the implementation of the #CaliFund, presented last year during the #COP16 on biodiversity. The fund aims to ensure a fair redistribution of benefits and profits derived from the use of Digital Sequence Information (DSI) on genetic resources. Thank you, Cali and Colombia, for hosting us and opening up a discussion about biodiversity conservation!
