Yesterday, our CFO, Gerardo Gagliardo, joined a panel at the Sifted Summit London to discuss how companies should successfully manage their funds after a raise. He shared our perspective on what a startup needs, which is not just administrating budgets, but using capital strategically to create more value. That’s why, while we keep our G&A lean and efficient with corporate-level financial discipline, we invest significantly in other areas. Research & Development, CapEx, Sales, and Marketing are key sectors in which we allocate substantial resources to drive sustainable growth. Our ultimate goal isn’t to save, but to make the right choices that continuously increase revenue and help us deliver long-term value for our customers and stakeholders. Thanks to the other panelists, Hannah Samano and Kirsty Macdonald, as well as the moderator, Anisah Osman Britton MBE, for the insightful conversation, and to everyone who attended the talk.

Exein Runtime
Software di sicurezza IoT
Exein Runtime is a state-of-the-art runtime threat detection and incident response solution (XDR) for Linux- and RTOS-based IoT systems. Exein Runtime allows our clients to monitor and protect their IoT devices from any type of external cybersecurity threat, and enables them to proactively detect and respond to both known and unknown attacks in real time. At the heart of the Exein Runtime system, there is the Exein Pulsar security agent. Pulsar is an open source, eBPF-based kernel observability framework developed by Exein. It is written entirely in Rust, a modern and secure language that allows for extreme performance even in constrained embedded environments. Exein Runtime targets all companies that need to protect systems, networks, and data from a broad spectrum of IoT security attacks. A large slice of our customers segment is represented by OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and OEM Providers, followed by Information & Technology companies and Cyber-security consultancy

I'll be speaking at the Sifted Summit in London on October 8th on the panel: 'How to spend your money: Budgeting, runways, and making your raise last'. The conversation will focus on one of the biggest post-raise challenges: managing funds efficiently. We will discuss the decisions that are crucial for long-term success, such as where to prioritize investments and how to extend runway through strategic choices. If you'd like to connect, feel free to DM me, I’ll be happy to meet during the event.

We’ve been named as a Representative Vendor in the 2025 Gartner® Market Guide for Embedded Security for IoT Connectivity. We believe this recognition is a testament to our world-class product and continuous growth, for which we’re grateful. With connected devices projected to reach 20 billion by 2032, the attack surface is expanding faster than ever. For manufacturers and operators, this means a pressing need for security that is compliance-ready, cost-effective, and doesn’t disrupt existing processes. Today, we already secure over one billion devices at runtime, thanks to our global network of customers and partners. We consider our inclusion in the Gartner Market Guide as an opportunity to further expand our reach and help industries strengthen the resilience of their connected infrastructure.

We’ve just partnered with Kontron AG | Kontron Group! We’re teaming up with the leading global innovator in IoT, to secure millions of devices worldwide with a new, end-to-end cybersecurity solution. Through this strategic collaboration, Exein’s technology becomes a standard security feature of KontronOS and KontronAIShield. Together, we are delivering an end-to-end, scalable solution, that provides a new level of protection for Kontron’s 3,000+ customers worldwide, across most strategic industries such as energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and aerospace. This collaboration also strengthens the European cybersecurity ecosystem at a time when major EU regulations — from RED 3.3 to the Cyber Resilience Act — are coming into force, requiring companies to adopt state-of-the-art solutions that meet with the new standards. “This partnership marks a defining moment for European cybersecurity, as together we are fortifying Europe’s position as a global leader in securing the connected future” — Gianni Cuozzo, CEO, Exein Learn more about our partnership https://lnkd.in/dzadm6wK

Today, our CTO, Giovanni Alberto Falcione, took the stage at Electronics & Applications 2025 in Utrecht to share practical examples of how Exein’s cybersecurity solutions address two of the most pressing needs in the market: strong protection and compliance with international regulations. During the seminar, Giovanni focused specifically on two of the latest EU regulations: the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and RED 3.3. These new frameworks reflect the necessity of having secure-by-design and resilient devices operating in the European market. He highlighted how manufacturers must analyze potential attack vectors and supply chain risks early in the design phase, and plan in advance for regular updates, rapid fixes for vulnerabilities, and safe retirement processes during the post-deployment stage. Ultimately, he showed how, through Exein's platform, it is possible to document security decisions, component inventories, and known vulnerabilities, and provide technical documentation to authorities—meeting a crucial criterion of the new regulations. Thanks for meeting us at the stage and also at our partner's booth, Logic Technology B.V..

This morning on Bloomberg Television’s Daybreak Europe, our CEO Gianni Cuozzo joined Tom Mackenzie to discuss the recent cyberattacks that hit car manufacturers and several European airports. The conversation focused on the risks of centralized infrastructures, where a single point of failure can compromise entire networks, and how Exein is driving a different approach: decentralized security, built into every device, protecting the network from the inside out. This method not only secures each device but also strengthens the resilience of the entire system, preventing it from collapsing after a breach. Gianni also had the chance to talk about Exein’s growth and global expansion, as we currently protect 1 billion devices worldwide and are building a stronger presence in the US and Asia-Pacific after our recent Series C funding. Watch the full interview and learn how Exein is helping to build a new resilient foundation for the connected world.

We’re at the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2025 at Excel London. It’s always a pleasure to connect with industry leaders and exchange insights about ensuring compliance, safeguarding resilience, and protecting margins in an increasingly regulated environment. If you’d like to explore how Exein helps companies stay ahead of regulatory change while keeping their connected infrastructure secure, send a DM to our Head of Business Intelligence, Danny Bonta, to arrange a chat. Looking forward to seeing you there 👋

The recent cyberattack on European airports has once again exposed a fundamental weakness in how we approach cybersecurity in CPS environments: centralization. Relying on centralized architectures may seem efficient, but structurally, it creates fragility and inevitable single points of failure. In critical infrastructures, this is not just a risk — it’s a systemic flaw. At Exein , we believe the future of cybersecurity is decentralized: 🔹 Security embedded into every single device 🔹 Orchestrated seamlessly across platforms, devices, and vendors 🔹 Enabling real-time collaboration and visibility at runtime We are building the next generation of embedded runtime technologies and a new CPS security platform designed to enable real-time orchestration, secure information sharing, and resilience by design. The goal: to finally move beyond the weaknesses of centralized models and deliver true runtime visibility and protection at scale. https://lnkd.in/dFMfqr6R
