Italmatch played an active role in the 13th CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition, a key event fostering dialogue between businesses and social actors on sustainable development — held at the prestigious SDA Bocconi University in Milan (Italy). Our Group ESG & Sustainability Manager Claudio Pirani, took part to the panel “Transparency and Competitiveness: The Importance of Certification” Claudio highlighted the wide range of positive impacts that adopting certifications can have on business management, reaffirming our strong commitment to sustainability and social innovation. “By adopting certified management systems enables us to better understand the context in which we operate, strengthening relationships with stakeholders and aligning our actions with local needs — from social support to environmental impact and community well-being. The fifth edition of SportAbility Day took place at MySport Village Sciorba in Genoa (Italy) this weekend, confirming its recognition as the region's leading inclusive sports event. Italmatch Chemicals’ participation confirms our dedication to supporting initiatives whose values strongly align with our own commitment to inclusivity, sustainability and corporate responsibility. “The participation in SportAbility Day demonstrates our ongoing commitment to promoting inclusion and social responsibility. ISEC 2025 in Melbourne (Australia) has officially come to an end after a dynamic week of knowledge-sharing, innovation and global collaboration. The conference brought together leading international experts to explore the latest technologies and applications in solvent extraction, with a strong focus on the mining, chemical, environmental and pharmaceutical sectors.   Italmatch Chemicals was pleased to take part in the event, where we introduced our cutting-edge extraction reagent solution, focusing on our innovative product, Ionquest.   During the event, our Global Business Development & Marketing Manager Filip Dutoy presented a paper entitled “Flowsheet for selective cobalt, nickel, manganese and lithium recovery from black mass using Ionquest solvent extractants”. “The conference provided an excellent platform to showcase our Ionquest® solvent extractants and discuss their role in advancing separation efficiency, selectivity, and sustainability in hydrometallurgical applications. Engaging with industry experts provided key insights to drive innovation and our commitment to supporting the critical metals value chain" said Filip The study conducted in our laboratory has resulted in the development of a conceptual process that allows for the selective recovery of critical metals—nickel, manganese, and cobalt—from spent NMC lithium-ion batteries. Italmatch Chemicals was pleased to take part to the XXXII ISSCT Centennial Congress held in Cali (Columbia).   The International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT) promotes an international conference that connects scientists, technologists, researchers, companies and professionals active throughout the sugar cane supply chain. This year's edition focused on key issues such as digitalization, innovation and sustainability.   “It was a truly meaningful event for us. Our presence there opened new business opportunities and strengthened relationships with our existing clients” said our Export Manager Renato Rodrigues.   With over 1,500 participants from more than 70 countries, the event offered an inspiring and opportunity-filled global environment.
