🚀A world first in #sustainable steelmaking! Operational tests are now underway at Ferriere Nord on the first dry slag granulation plant for white slag, developed in collaboration with Gruppo Pittini. At the heart of this breakthrough is Tenova’s patented technology (EP4100551), which enables the transformation of steelmaking slag into a valuable resource for the cement industry - all without water use, while also improving working conditions in the steel plant and recovering residual steel from ladle slag. 🌱 This project is a key achievement in Pittini Group’s #ZeroWaste strategy and a proud milestone in Tenova’s mission to drive sustainable #innovation and #CircularEconomy solutions in the metals industry.

🤲 A full day of exchange, alignment, and technical deep dives brought together the Tenova and Coolbrook teams to further advance our collaboration on the innovative RotoDynamic Heater™ (RDH™) technology! As part of an ongoing partnership, this working session was a key moment to strengthen synergies, align on strategic objectives, and explore how RDH™ can accelerate the #decarbonization of industrial processes. The agenda included mutual introductions, company and technology overviews, a tour of Tenova’s facilities and TenovaLAB, and in-depth technical discussions on potential applications, starting with acid regeneration and looking toward broader implementation across the metals and mining industry. These kinds of hands-on, cross-functional exchanges are essential to transforming #innovation into real industrial impact. 🤝 From May 12 to 14, we had the pleasure of contributing to the Comité SEAME’s first-ever edition in Italy! The Committee was established to regularly bring together the Heads of Human Resources from across the Gruppo Techint to foster ongoing dialogue, share best practices, and develop initiatives that support people throughout the Group’s global network. During their visit, the Committee members engaged in a rich three-day program, featuring in-depth discussions and site visits to Tenaris’ Fondazione Dalmine, Humanitas Research Hospital and University in Rozzano, and finally, Tenova’s headquarters in Castellanza. At Tenova, we were honored to host the closing afternoon of the visit. After a warm welcome and an engaging company presentation by our CEO, Roberto Pancaldi, the delegation toured the Pomini Tenova workshop. The visit highlighted our core principles: technological excellence, a people-centered culture, and an uncompromising focus on safety and well-being. The program closed with a clear sense of shared purpose and alignment. This special gathering reaffirmed what unites us across borders: putting #people at the heart of everything we do. Federico Metzger, Tenova and TEUR CHRO, commented: “We were pleased to host this important meeting in Italy. Earlier today, we took part in the CLEAN HYDROGEN FOR A COMPETITIVE DECARBONIZATION event in Milan, curated by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. The event brought together key stakeholders to explore the crucial role of low-carbon #hydrogen in decarbonizing sectors that are difficult to electrify, such as industry and heavy transport. It provided a platform to discuss the latest technological advancements, leading production projects, and the economic and regulatory frameworks needed to scale up hydrogen solutions across Italy and the EU. 📌 Marco Corbella, VP Metals at Tenova, has contributed to the second session: "Accelerating hydrogen deployment: infrastructures, final uses, regulation", sharing insights on large-scale hydrogen projects for #GreenSteel with focus on Europe. To conclude, he also introduced #TulumEnergy — a new startup spun off from Tenova, dedicated to hydrogen production using technologies developed through our extensive experience in the steel industry.
