There is an ever increasing dependence on technology: information is the lifeblood of vessel and a critical asset for any shipowner and needs to be both protected and exploited;
    The threat is increasing and is more diverse in nature – malicious and non-malicious human behavior is a key weakness;
    It is essential that a modern ship management system understands and mitigates these risks as well as embedding a strong information security culture.

    Ship Safety uses the wave radar Core Technology, providing a concrete support for safety and comfort during navigation in adverse weather conditions and at night-time;

    Ship Safety provides warnings related to the interaction between wave-motion and the specific vessel (e.g. wave impact angle, resonance conditions, etc.).

    The objective of the project is to SENSIBLE’s target is to supply the SATCOM market with a service capable to distribute dynamically the satellite bandwidth and manage the quality of service for a set of users within the same administrative domain, to which a fixed amount of bandwidth is assigned from the satellite operator. SENSIBLE will be able to detect the user’s needs (in term of bandwidth for the activated services) and shape the traffic between the terminals of the same administrative…

    In this project I was responsible for developing the business idea, developing the marketing plan and business plan for the project financing by European Space Agency ESA and the first phase of contract management.
