USE THEIR PRODUCT! 🚀 Crypto is too early-stage for people who are just looking for a paycheck. 2) Be able to self-direct. "We don’t have time to handhold." 🚀 Founders love people who figure it out, move fast, and don’t need 7 syncs to start solving. 3) Be biased toward building. "We're not hiring slide-makers." 🚀 Even in non-technical roles, they want people who ship ideas, content, users, deals, whatever your version of “build” looks like. 4) Communicate clearly. "Crypto is noisy. We need signal." 🚀 The best candidates can write, explain, and influence. Not just execute. 5) Be obsessed with learning. "The space changes daily. So should you." 🚀 Founders want talent that evolves with the industry, not people who are stuck in Web2 frameworks. Want to stand out? ✅Use their product. ✅ Join their community. ✅ Bring ideas. ✅ Ask good questions. ✅ Show your curiosity. Founders can feel when you're just “exploring options” vs when you’re all-in. Crypto requires passion and passion pushes us forward.

Crypto Equities have outperformed tokens because the best fintechs Coinbase and Robinhood HAVE stronger fundamentals than DeFi / chains. Coinbase did $1.5B of net income in Q2'25 and Robinhood did $1.2B of annualized net income in Q2'25. Chains / protocols don't come close to $1B of buybacks other than $HYPE at ~$1B. Also CeFi is crushing DeFi on fundamentals: - Coinbase = $80B of CEX daily volume per +73% YoY w/ 8.7m monthly transacting users. - Robinhood = $407B of CEX volume Aug '25 +64% YoY w/ 26.7m funded accounts. - Hyperliquid = $293B of spot + perp volume Sept '25 +713% YoY but only ~50k DAU on HypeCore perp DAU. Memecoin, DAT trading, retail volume by # of user is predominantly centralized fintechs NOT crypto DeFi yet. We will see shift in token outperformance when more retail users / volume moves onchain and fundamentals improve.

Coinbase’s x402 protocol could change how AI companies make money Coinbase’s x402 protocol lets any application — not just AI agents — pay for services instantly over the internet using stablecoins. When a client makes a request, the server can reply with a “Payment Required” message (HTTP status code 402), the client sends the exact amount from its wallet, and the payment clears in seconds. Because stablecoins make it cheap and easy to send even tiny amounts across borders, this unlocks new business models like pay-per-API call, per-second billing, or per-download pricing that settles into your account in real-time - traditional credit cards and bank transfers can’t support this. Sure, agents can already transact on my behalf with today’s payment rails. And yes, even with stablecoins I still need to grant wallet access, set spend limits, and permissions. But here’s where stablecoins make it interesting: 1️⃣ Near-instant settlement 2️⃣ Better cross-border reach 3️⃣ Lower transaction costs Credit cards break here — high per-transaction fees kill sub-$1 payments, settlement can take days, and cross-border fees make global AI services messy. With stablecoins, that friction disappears, opening up real micro-payment models: - Pay-Per-Crawl – AI crawlers pay per request (think Cloudflare’s model). - Pay-Per-Inference – At Cerebrium we already bill per second per compute used, but sub-cent charges that clear instantly? That’s new. Pay-Per-Task – Attempt a task until completion, capped at a set spend limit. Why it matters: Micro-payments = faster revenue realization → more liquidity → quicker reinvestment. Same principle that helped Pipe win by unlocking cash earlier for SaaS companies. Every payment network will have stablecoins, and every stablecoin will be in payment networks. Stripe’s Bridge acquisition signals they’re heading this way too so it would be interesting to see if they adopt it. Questions: - Which industries would benefit most if payments could be measured in seconds of usage instead of monthly subscriptions - Where could instant micro-payments actually fail to deliver on the promise?
