Following last year’s success, we kicked off Summer Collaboration Day 2025 at our head office in Toyosu. This event was held to show appreciation to our employees and to foster stronger connections and collaboration across teams. It also aligned with our Back to Office initiative that kicked off in September, offering a great opportunity to reconnect in person and rediscover the value of face-to-face interaction. With the theme of the 1980s, we enjoyed the atmosphere of the era through fashion and accessories. CEO, Hidetoshi Shibata (Toshi), also joined the event, and there was a heartwarming moment when employees and the leadership team, including Toshi, posed together in front of the murals created by student artists, all smiles for the commemorative photo. Employees shared their thoughts: “It was so refreshing to talk face-to-face again. You just can’t beat real interaction.” “I got to chat with people from departments I rarely interact with—it was a really fun experience.” “The City Pop playlist brought back memories—I couldn’t help but dance! It was amazing to see everyone enjoying it across generations.” Building on the momentum from Toyosu, Summer Collaboration Days were held at Renesas Group offices across Japan. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our culture through local events and shared experiences. #Collaboration #EmployeeEngagement #TeamBuilding 昨年に続き「Summer Collaboration Day '25」を本社豊洲オフィスにて開催しました。 社員のみなさんへ日頃の感謝の気持ちを込めて、また社員同士の親睦・連携を深めることを目的に開催したものです。 このイベントは、9月から始まった「Back to Office」取り組みにも連動しており、オフィスでのリアルなつながりを再発見するきっかけとなりました。 今回は「80年代」をテーマに、ファッションや小物で当時の雰囲気を楽しみました。CEOの柴田も参加し、学生アーティストが手がけた壁画の前でCEOをはじめとするリーダーシップチームと社員が肩を並べて記念撮影する場面もあり、笑顔があふれるひとときとなりました。 社員からは、 「久しぶりに直接会って話せて、やっぱりリアルっていいなと実感しました」 「普段あまり接点のない部署の方とも話すことができて、新鮮で楽しかったです」 「City Popの選曲が懐かしくて、思わず踊ってしまいました。世代を超えて盛り上がれるって素敵ですね」 といった声も寄せられ、世代や部署を超えたつながりが生まれるひとときとなりました。 この交流イベントは、豊洲オフィスだけでなく、国内のルネサスグループ各拠点にて開催しました。いくつかの拠点で撮影した写真をご紹介します。

Parking on busy streets, especially parallel parking, can be quite the challenge. Renesas has worked with iMotion Automotive Technology to provide a solution with iMotion’s self-park system, offering automated parking in under 30 seconds. Integrating “smooth as silk” 3D rendering, self-mapped urban memory driving, and human motion interface in one ADAS system chipset, iMotion is making this full solution available not just for luxury cars, but for mid-range and entry-level models as well. Since 2020, Renesas has supported iMotion through our R-Car V4H Automotive SoC. Now for the grand reveal! The murals are now on display, bringing positive energy and inspiration to our Toyosu and Musashi offices. Each piece offers a unique perspective shaped by the artist's vision, thoughtful process, and connection to the spaces where they now live. 🌟 You can view the mural creation process and photos of the completed murals here: https://bit.ly/4pXqQsG At Toyosu, the mural combines shadows of sunlight filtering through trees at Toyosu Park with images from countries where Renesas offices are located (Malaysia, Germany, India, and the United States). By fusing shadows with digital images, the work symbolically represents contemporary society and the invisible ways semiconductors support people's lives. This artwork was created with the intention of leaving "imaginative space" where subtle details might go unnoticed at first glance, and different landscapes emerge each time you look. It offers a moment of pause in a fast-moving world, encouraging new ways of seeing and thinking. The mural in Musashi office draws inspiration from "Kidai Shoran," and depicts society supported by semiconductor technology and human connections in a futuristic cityscape. It features symbolic figures and layered materials. At the bottom of the painting, our purpose statement "To Make Our Lives Easier" is written from right to left across the entire width, positioned like a circuit board. Furthermore, gerbera flowers are placed in the four corners symbolizing hope, positivity, and always moving forward. With its vivid colors and rich textures, the mural is designed to energize and inspire everyone who passes by. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Kotori Nakamura and Mr. Ujitoshi Akasa for bringing their creativity, passion, and perspective into our spaces.
