The Fund ran its first challenge in 2024 for SMEs creating work for young people through their agribusinesses. While applications for the Agribusiness Challenge are processed, plans are underway to launch the second challenge for SMEs that are creating work opportunities in the Climate Impact sector for young people with limited financial means. Revised challenge launch dates and details will be announced soon on www.frp.org and on official Fund social media channels.

The Mastercard Foundation Fund for Resilience and Prosperity, aims to support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises across 3 sectors in 20 countries in Sub Saharan Africa. The main objective of the Fund will be to unlock enterprise growth and catalyse, scale up, and sustain the creation of dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for young women and men.
