A Special Interview with ALTEN Korea’s VIE – Episode 3: Camille Gennatas🎤 🌎The V.I.E program, promoted by the French government, is an international volunteer program that allows French youth between the ages of 18 and 28 to gain valuable international work experience by being dispatched to overseas companies. 🤝As a subsidiary of the France-based ALTEN Group,  ALTEN Korea also participates in this program to recruit talented people. The final VIE interview at ALTEN Korea features Camille GENNATAS, who is currently working as a CMF Designer in the Design Division. Team Leader, Byung chul Song said programming is not simply about writing code. It is the power to turn ideas into concrete tools and systems, and a journey where one can continuously develop problem-solving skills and creativity along the way. The trend he sees as the driving force behind the future of programming is, without question, AI technology. “AI reduces repetitive coding tasks and enables programmers to focus more on creativity and essential problem-solving. Programmers are no longer just ‘people who write code well,’ but are transforming into ‘people who create new value by leveraging AI.’” Among the technologies he is most excited about, he highlights the convergence of legacy systems and AI. “This is not just an upgrade. It is a strategy to preserve existing assets while integrating the latest technologies. Programming is a journey that turns challenges into growth, and growth into passion. Behind embedded systems lie countless attempts, small achievements, and the belief that technology can make industries better.For 이승엽 (SeungYeob LEE), Manager of the GEC Team at ALTEN Korea, the world of embedded software was unfamiliar and overwhelming at first.There were moments when it felt too complex and abstract, moments when he wanted to give up. But by pushing through, small successes began to build up, and those became the foundation of his skills and passion. The reason he continues this work is clear. “Embedded development is an area where it’s difficult to understand everything at once, but what matters is repeating experiences of small successes and failures to grow.If you build a strong foundation and accumulate hands-on experience interacting with real hardware, even newcomers can grow into excellent developers.” He also points out that systematic mentoring and guidelines for newcomers and career changers are key tasks for the programming community. “If a mentoring system is established that connects experienced developers with beginners so they can grow together, not only individuals but also organizations can continuously strengthen their technical capabilities and competitiveness.” Today, he serves as a QA and Test Manager in the field of automotive application development, ensuring the quality and reliability of systems that people rely on every day. From September 3rd to 5th, at the 1st Industrial AI EXPO held at Coex Magok Convention Center, we sincerely thank everyone who visited the joint booth of ALTEN Korea and Dassault Systèmes Korea. 🙏 During the event, we presented: ✔️ AI-TECH Seminar: Strategies for efficient parts management and enhancing enterprise competitiveness with AI ✔️ AI Conference: Sustainable manufacturing innovation through effective reuse of design assets These sessions provided new insights into the manufacturing industry and resonated with many participants. Over the 3 days, we also conducted in-depth consultations, analyzing each company’s infrastructure and future needs.
