A new study published in 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 shows that 𝗬𝗔𝗣 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀—𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱—𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗔𝗣–𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗫𝟭 𝗮𝘅𝗶𝘀. This vulnerability is amplified with melatonin-powered copper nanomaterials, which suppress tumor growth, block metastasis, and enhance immunity. 🔬 Using holotomography, the team captured label-free, real-time 3D evidence of #mitochondrial disruption, validating cuproptosis as a therapeutic pathway in living cancer cells. https://lnkd.in/gh-NHgrB #HolotomographyPublication #tomocube #publication #3Dimaging #livecellimaging #cuproptosis #breastcancer #cancerresearch #holotomography #precisionmedicine #nanotherapy

소개
See your samples like never before with Tomocube’s revolutionary label-free, live cell Holotomography. Established in 2015, Tomocube is dedicated to delivering products that enhance biological and medical research via novel optical solutions that can assist scientists and clinicians in understanding, diagnosing, and treating human diseases. Holotomography (HT) technology provides label-free 4D quantitative imaging for analyzing cells and tissues. The details of live cell dynamics, subcellular organelles, and tissue structures can be seen without preparation including fixation, transfection, or staining. Image data acquisition is supported by AI-driven data analysis software for phenotypic analysis using cellular and sub-cellular segmentation. 🎉 Congratulations to the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘀𝗹𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 on their recent publication in 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘉𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, reporting new findings in liver endothelial biology and showing how Tomocube’s HT-X1 enables 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝟯𝗗 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹–𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 (𝘀𝗰𝗟𝗦𝗘𝗖𝘀). Using quantitative holotomography, the authors continuously monitored pore-like (low-RI) membrane structures—a hallmark of LSEC morphology—without fixation or fluorescent labeling. These structures were analyzed over time using a machine learning–based algorithm, revealing dynamic changes linked to cell differentiation and culture conditions. The work further demonstrated that exposure to zone-specific culture environments (Z1/Z3) induced directional changes in LSEC markers, metabolism, and morphology, highlighting the potential of scLSECs as an in vitro model for liver zonation. 🔬 From a technology standpoint, this study shows that HT-X1 can non-invasively capture fine transcellular structures in live cells over the long term, providing dynamic, label-free data for 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀, beyond what conventional SEM or fluorescence microscopy can offer. #HolotomographyPublication #tomocube #publication #3Dimaging #livecellimaging #Stemcell #Livercell #Hepatocyte #LSEC, ##pluripotentstemcell #PSC, #liverzonation

👏 Huge congratulations to Prof. Seongsoo Lee’s team on their latest breakthrough published in the Journal of Hazardous Materials! By 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀, the study reveals how airborne particulate matter (PM) hijacks macrophages—activating the Lands cycle and driving inflammation through lipid remodeling, offering new clues to how pollution fuels chronic disease. Potential lipid biomarkers are also proposed for monitoring PM-induced inflammation.
