February is an incredibly exciting month for institutional crypto. This period is crucial for shaping the future operational landscape globally. Pivotal industry discussions are defining this future. Major global events, including the Digital Assets Forum in London (Feb 5-6), Cayman Crypto Week in Grand Cayman (Feb 9-13)@blockchain-association-of-the-cayman-islands and #ConsensusHK (Feb 10-12), are convening. These gatherings provide critical platforms for leaders to address complex operational and token problems, and we are particularly excited to see what insights and changes these discussions may bring to the industry. Our team will be actively on the ground at Cayman Crypto Week. This event, right in our backyard, is renowned for its focus on cutting-edge crypto issues. It brings together technical leaders and traditional specialists. They help set essential industry standards. For your project, this translates into actionable insights for compliant, secure, and scalable growth. Connect with our team at Cayman Crypto Week. Let's discuss solving your project's most complex operational and token challenges to ensure compliant, secure, and scalable growth in 2026. #CryptoConferences #InstitutionalCrypto #CaymanCryptoWeek #LemmaSolutions #CryptoOperations

Smarter Foundations. Stronger DAOs. We understand the complexity of launching and running these structures effectively.
About us
Lemma simplifies the complex operational layers of Web3 organizations — so founders, communities, and stakeholders can focus on building, not back-office headaches. Whether you're launching a DAO, scaling a foundation, or navigating regulatory uncertainty, Lemma gives you operational peace of mind — from Day 0 to DAO 2.0. What we do We handle what others avoid: → Incorporation & legal structuring → Governance frameworks & voting mechanisms → Banking & fiat access → Compliance & reporting → Day-to-day admin & entity management All with deep legal, financial, and Web3-native expertise. Unlike consultants or one-off service providers, we stay with you as a long-term operational partner. Think of us as your back-office operator — embedded, accountable, and responsive. We don't just advise. We execute. Who we work with - DAOs & Foundations looking to scale with stability - Founders launching new decentralized protocols or ecosystems - VCs & Law Firms supporting clients with complex structures Protocol Labs, Gnosis, Aave and others who trust us to keep them compliant and operationally sound Why Lemma 1. We blend TradFi discipline with DeFi agility 2. We understand both multisigs and regulators 3. We’re Web3-native, but risk-aware 4. We're global, but boutique — big enough to execute, small enough to care The result? Less time dealing with paperwork, processes, and patchwork advice — and more time doing what you came here to do: build. Our promise Web3 moves fast. We make sure your operations can keep up — seamlessly, compliantly, and without compromise. So the only thing you’ll ever have to worry about is… actually building the future.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿. Earlier this week, users of the DEX aggregator Matcha Meta were exposed to a 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻, resulting in up to $𝟭𝟲.𝟴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱. What happened in brief: • A smart contract in the SwapNet integration had an “arbitrary call” vulnerability that allowed an attacker to transfer approved funds out of user wallets. • The attacker swapped a large portion of USDC into ETH and began bridging the stolen assets to Ethereum. • Matcha Meta has advised users to revoke direct approvals to the affected contract to prevent further exposure. This incident is part of a 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝘀 that continue to account for a significant share of crypto losses. Key takeaways for teams building in DeFi: • Smart contracts are immutable once deployed, so vulnerabilities cannot simply be patched after the fact. • Integrations and third-party dependencies can surface risk beyond your own code base. • Proactive review, continuous monitoring, and approval hygiene remain essential. For operators and governance partners, staying ahead of these risks requires thoughtful design, robust security practices, and clear user guidance — not just audits at launch. If you’d like to discuss how governance, approvals, and operational controls intersect with security in practice, feel free to reach out.

The tides are turning in crypto regulation. A recent development signals a crucial shift in the landscape for crypto projects and companies. Bloomberg reported on January 23rd that the SEC is seeking to dismiss its lawsuit against Gemini over its crypto lending services. This dismissal comes after investors were made whole, receiving 100% of their capital back through Genesis' bankruptcy resolution. This action indicates a potential re-evaluation of enforcement strategies. It also suggests a new interpretation of current laws. For foundations, it underscores the dynamic nature of regulation. This highlights the ongoing need for robust, regulator-aware operational frameworks. Lemma helps projects navigate these evolving legal currents. Stay informed about these critical regulatory shifts. DAC8 extends the EU’s tax transparency framework to crypto-assets, requiring Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) to collect and report user transaction data to authorities. In practice, this means: • Broader reporting obligations for crypto platforms serving EU users • Increased data collection, record-keeping, and compliance requirements • Closer alignment between crypto regulation and traditional financial reporting standards While DAC8 aims to improve tax transparency across member states, it also raises operational questions around implementation, timelines, and cross-border coordination. For teams operating in or serving the EU, it is important to assess readiness, review internal processes, and align legal, compliance, and technical stakeholders. If you need support, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to connect you with our partners.
