We are seeking a high-level Director of Client Partnerships to drive advertising and newsletter revenue for two leading, globally recognized digital-first media brands. This is a full-time, fully remote position working EST hours. The ideal candidate blends consultative sales skills with strategic account management, owning the full client lifecycle from prospecting to deal close. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Job Title: Director, Client Partnerships (Digital Media / Newsletter Revenue)

Location: Remote (EST Hours, U.S.-based only)

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outbound outreach, pitch development, and relationship management, with a focus on new business development
  • Lead the sale of premium, non-programmatic inventory through high-value direct deals and long-term brand partnerships
  • Identify opportunities across agencies, brand marketing, and communications teams to drive revenue
  • Leverage market insights and competitive intelligence to advance deals through the pipeline
  • Build value through strong agency and brand relationships, acting as a trusted strategic partner

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7+ years of ad sales experience in digital media, ideally with a newsletter or content-driven focus
  • Proven success selling ad solutions, including CPM and flat-rate sponsorships, to diverse client bases
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action, ownership, and accountability
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and highly motivated

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $200,000+ (including performance-based incentives or bonus)

Additional Information

  • Role is 100% remote, but candidates must be based in the U.S. and available to work Eastern Time (EST) business hours
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States — no visa sponsorship available
  • Title may be flexible based on experience (e.g., Senior Director)
