The importance of hands-on, tactile tools in classrooms is clearer than ever. As students get ready to go back to school, LEGO Education has just released their report on the impact of hands-on activities and the need for more interactive teaching tools, surveying more than 6,000 teachers, parents, students, and administrators worldwide. The findings are clear: 79% of students with hands-on experiences feel confident in a subject (vs. 52% without) 71% of teachers say it improves test scores and grades 84–87% of educators believe it engages all types of learners 63% of students who love a subject credit that passion to regular hands-on experiences In reality, many school art programs are shrinking or taught with limited resources. “Hands-on” doesn’t always mean active, exploratory, sometimes it’s just following a template. At Art Games, we’re reimagining what hands-on art can be: It’s art that’s hands-on, immersive, and future-ready, giving students the confidence they need and teachers the innovative tools they’ve been asking for. #backtoschool #handsonlearning #arteducation #steam #edtech #creativity #ar #ai #artgames #artsmiles
