❗️Poland reopens border crossings with Belarus Poland, which closed its border with Belarus on September 12 during the “Zapad” exercises and extended restrictions indefinitely, today decided to restore border crossings this Thursday (2025.09.25, 00:00). ❗️IMPORTANT INFORMATION Poland, which initially temporarily closed the border with Belarus while the "Zapad" exercise was taking place, decided to extend these restrictions indefinitely. The government has stated that it prioritizes the safety of its citizens and that movement will resume only when complete safety is ensured, with no specific date announced at this time. The move has disrupted trade flows worth €25 billion. The most affected logistics chain was the railway transport, which carried about 90% of the goods between China and the EU. These restrictions have led to traffic jams at intermediate stations, some new cargo is not being accepted, and departures of accepted cargo are being postponed.
