BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed on Friday that renowned singers Shreya Ghoshal and Papon will perform at the opening ceremony of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup in Guwahati on September 30.He also mentioned that the Shillong Choir Chamber will take part in the event, and tributes will be paid to Zubeen Garg, who recently passed away in Singapore.
Saikia said, "Some of the famous singers from our region like Papon, Shreya Ghoshal, Shillong Choir Chamber will perform before the match and pay their tributes to Zubeen.

In a special musical tribute, it has been confirmed that acclaimed playback singer Shreya Ghoshal will perform in honor of Zubeen Garg during the break of the inaugural match.
