This #WorldFoodDay marks 80 years of FAO’s leadership in building a food-secure future. Yet today, 673 million people still live with hunger and millions more face chronic food insecurity. Conflicts and climate change are major drivers, but so is soil degradation. Raising the productivity of soils is not just an opportunity, it’s a necessity. At OCP Group, we’re advancing food security through: • Customized fertilizers tailored to local soil needs • Agricultural extension services that empower farmers • Research and innovation through UM6P • Climate-smart farming that restores soil health and resilience Because sustainable agriculture starts in the soil – and grows through collaboration.  #FoodSecurity #SoilHealth #SustainableAgriculture #ClimateSmartFarming #InnovationForAfrica

At OCP Group, we believe that sustainable growth comes from collaboration and long-term partnerships. On September 24th, together with our partners Bpifrance, INNOVX, and UM6P - University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, we hosted a Connect event at the UM6P GLOBAL HUBS - France in Paris. The event brought together 32 french companies to explore opportunities in industrialization, innovation, energy transition, and digitalization with the ambition to spark transformative partnerships and connect with innovative SMEs, startups, and midcaps offering breakthrough solutions. This is another milestone in the International Business Journey, launched in 2024, following a first chapter in Morocco on green hydrogen and agritech, and the official announcement of the OCP Group–Bpifrance strategic partnership during the State visit in December 2024.

As part of ongoing high-level discussions during #ClimateWeekNYC, Ms. Hanane Mourchid, Chief Sustainability & Innovation Officer at OCP Group, continues to engage with global leaders. This week she contributed to several events among which two key sessions convened by the World Economic Forum : • Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders Advisory Meeting • Chief Sustainability Officers Meeting: Scaling Global Solutions for Climate and Nature Ms. Mourchid underlined the strong business case of OCP’s green energy and green water programs. OCP is already on track to cover all its electricity needs through clean energy by 2027, while relying on 100% non-conventional water consumption through #desalination, wastewater reuse, and large-scale infrastructure like the Jorf Lasfar–Khouribga pipeline. These investments not only secure operations but also reinforce resilience for surrounding communities. She also emphasized that the business case for OCP’s customized fertilizers is already proven, delivering higher yields, improved soil health, and reduced emissions. Yet, she noted that scalability will depend on stronger collaboration across the entire food and agriculture value chain. #BusinessCase #GreenEnergy #WaterResilience #AgricultureInnovation #ClimateAction
