Radio Titanic torna a l'ona curta

"Germany's longest-serving free radio station," RADIO TITANIC INTERNATIONAL, which last contaminated the airwaves with its free radio programs 25 years ago, is back on shortwave for you, offering you the unique opportunity to hear the station again, or rather for the first time.

Thanks to the outstanding service provided by the makers of Shortwave Gold and shortwaveradio.de, who gave us the opportunity to celebrate this unique comeback of RTI via their transmitters!

The station was active on various pirate radio frequencies from 1975 to 2000 – some old-timers may still remember this – and is now celebrating its unique comeback on shortwave exactly 50 years after its broadcasting launch in August 1975.

In the first 25 years of its existence, RTI broadcast more than 250 times with its own transmitters and those of its friends, and sent out more than 1,500 printed QSL cards during that time.

In addition to a current programme segment, there will be a retrospective of RTI's station history, as well as various recordings from almost all of the DJs who were hired on the broadcasting ship TITANIC at the time.

The program blocks will be in German, English, Swedish, and Spanish, among others, hosted by all the DJs who contributed announcements and programmes in the years before the millennium. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our friends and many helpers; without your enthusiasm, this project would never have survived 25 years!

There is only one contact option, and only this one, via email:

Please note: All other postal and email addresses listed in the various broadcast blocks have been invalid for more than 25 years! Printed QSL cards will also no longer be available!

But of course, an eQSL will be issued for accurate, detailed reception reports of at least 15 minutes. Reception observations via SDR world receivers are also welcome. However, please do not send us "Man sings - speech - woman sings - speech reports." Unfortunately, we cannot do anything with that, and these reports will not be responded to. Details are requested, including short audio/video recordings of up to 3MB in size or 2 minutes per report. Unfortunately, our server cannot handle more than that! Please compress the files.

Please also note that due to vacation, we will not respond to emails until late fall or winter 2025. We therefore sincerely ask listeners to be patient and not to file complaints after a few days or weeks. It's pointless!

General criticism of the programs is, of course, very welcome and encouraged.

We wish all old and new listeners uninterrupted reception, good entertainment, and lots of fun listening.

Radio France Bleu RCFM (Radio Corse Frequenza Mora), 101.7 MHz, emissora escoltada l'estiu passat quan encara era Radio France Bleu RCFM i no pas Ici RCFM, nom actual.

Veient el resultat del meu informe a Ici Roussillon (vegeu entrada anterior), vaig decidir reenviar un informe de l'estiu passat d'aquesta emissora corsa i amb gran sorpresa he rebut aquesta detallada carta de confirmació per correu electrònic signada per la directora de l'emissora, Sra. Rose Paolacci. Al mateix temps, també he rebut un altre correu electrònic confirmant el meu informe, signat aquest cop per Serge Jakobowski, Responsable Technique.

Le service français de Radio Taïwan International est heureux de vous informer que durant le mois d’août 2025, nous procéderons à une diffusion directe depuis le centre de transmission de Tamsui, dans le nord de Taïwan, vers l’Europe et l’Afrique du nord.

 

Afin de préparer au mieux cette activité radiophonique en français, une diffusion-test sera effectuée le dimanche 29 juin en ondes courtes, aux horaires et fréquences suivants :

Fréquence 15145 kHz (325°), 17h00-17h10, temps universel

Fréquence 11995 kHz (325°), 17h15-17h25, temps universel

Fréquence 11995 kHz (325°), 17h30-17h40, temps universel

Fréquence 9550 kHz (315°), 17h45-17h55, temps universel

 

Vos rapports d’écoute sur ces tests par segments de 10 minutes nous aideront à identifier les deux fréquences optimales pour la diffusion du mois d’août « en direct de Tamsui » de 30 minutes dans les meilleures conditions d’écoute possible.

Le programme de cette activité radiophonique en français sera diffusé en Ondes Courtes tous les vendredis, samedis et dimanches du 1^er août au 31 août. Les fréquences et horaires vous seront communiqués après la diffusion-test du 29 juin.

Atlantic 2000 international was for the first time on shortwave on June 6th, 1982. In June 2025, we are forty-three years old!

Our special anniversary show will be on the air on Saturday, June 14th, from 08:00 to 09:00 UTC, on 6070 and 9670 kHz via Channel 292.

Radio Igloo's presentation program of the West Coast DX Club will be available to listen to this coming weekend via RealMix Radio. 

The program, which focuses on the club and its activities,has been updated slightly since previous broadcasts from other stations. The information is mixed with music performed by artists from West Sweden.

Mark your calendar for 19:00 UTC on Sunday, June 15, 2025. 

RealMix Radio broadcasts from Raasepori [Raseborg] in southern Finland with 300 Watts on 6185 kHz or 6195 kHz depending on possible interference on the band.

Voice of Indonesia, 3325 KHz, emissora pública indonèsia. L'octubre del 2020 vaig escoltar aquesta emissora en bandes tropicals i vaig enviar l'informe a les adreces habituals, però sense resultat. Fa uns dies vaig veure que alguns diexistes havien rebut una E-QSL des de l'adreça [email protected] i vaig decidir intentar-ho un altre cop. Set dies després he rebut aquesta E-QSL, quatre anys i mig des de l'informe original. v/s Ani Hasanak Mubarok.

ALL signal reports are welcome , even of sdr on the web, as I cannot monitor many over the hour. I will give short acknowledgements to reports but I do not have secretarial support to enable longer chats.

Any suggestions for musical content are also welcome , or you will continue to get what I get inspired to broadcast. I do try and give samples of upcoming live events in UK but this is at the expense of more historical performances. Using recorded live performances  is one of my preferences , but these usually exceed the 3 to 4 minutes that 78 rpm and earlier 10 inch LP's allowed for.

If I can talk round a sponsor, Wooferton , 125 kW , on 3955 kHz may feature some evenings. At the moment plugs for upcoming events is in demonstration mode, and not providing revenue.
