  • 📚 🤝 📌 On August 29, 2025, Ambatovy officially launched its new _High School Scholarship _program, reaffirming its commitment to education in its areas of operation. For the 2025–2026 school year, 56 deserving students from vulnerable families in Ambatovy’s intervention zones – including the districts of Toamasina I and II, Moramanga, and Brickaville – will receive support to continue their secondary studies. Among this year’s 56 recipients, 16 are part of the first cohort of secondary school scholarship students, who began the program in 2021 and successfully obtained their BEPC in 2025. The remaining 40 are new beneficiaries. With the launch of this new program, Ambatovy now offers a complete educational pathway, supporting students from lower secondary school through to university. This means that Ambatovy can accompany students for up to ten consecutive years – from the first year of lower secondary school through to their third year at university. 👨🎓 👩🎓 #ResponsibleMining #Education #HighSchoolScholarshipProgram #Support #SustainableDevelopment

  • 🦺Ambatovy carried out a new emergency drill simulation exercise in Moramanga, following a similar drill held earlier in Toamasina. This exercise simulated a hypothetical dam failure at the Mine Site and was carried out as part of our broader commitment to risk management and emergency preparedness, aligned with international standards. Conducted in collaboration with the BNGRC, the Moramanga CDGRC, and local communities, the drill aimed to strengthen local capacity to respond to emergencies and crises, test the effectiveness of our early warning system, and reinforce coordination with local authorities and stakeholders. 👍 As a responsible mining operation, ensuring the safety of our employees and neighboring communities remains our highest priority.💪 #ResponsibleMining #SIMEX #BNGRC #CDGRC #Communities #Safety #Employees
