Gamuda Land continues to strengthen its footprint in the United Kingdom with the acquisition of a prime site at 14 Marshgate Lane in Stratford, London. The 321-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development marks Gamuda Land’s first fully self-developed and managed PBSA in the UK, located within walking distance of UCL East and the London College of Fashion. This project is targeted to be completed during the Academic Year 2028/2029. With this addition, Gamuda Land now manages a growing PBSA portfolio of 1,232 beds across London and Glasgow, including Press House in Woolwich (419 beds) and City Wharf in Glasgow (492 beds). These developments reflect our strategic ambition to deliver up to 3,000 student beds across key UK cities in the next 5 years. We are proud to celebrate Gamuda Australia, together with partners John Holland and Edwards Heavy Lift, for winning the Innovation Award 2025 at The Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Conference in Brisbane. The award recognises the Super T Girder Access Platform (GAP) developed for the M1 Black Hill to Tomago Extension project. This pioneering solution enhances safety and efficiency in bridge construction by removing the need for elevated work platforms and reducing manual handling risks, resulting in faster installation and less traffic disruption. From London to KL, it was great to see you again, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim! Our second day at the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) 2025 marked another milestone in the region’s collective effort to power a sustainable future. Following the Joint Opening Ceremony of AMEM-43 and AEBF-25, the Prime Minister, with Deputy Prime Minister II and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah Yusof visited Gamuda’s booth. What an energising start to the 25th ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF)! Hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) and graced by Deputy Prime Minister II and PETRA Minister, YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah Yusof yesterday, the three-day forum was soft launched by H.E. Tuan Haji Akmal Nasir, PETRA Deputy Minister. In his keynote, Justin Chin, Managing Director of Gamuda Engineering, shared how our end-to-end engineering and development expertise has driven a fast-growing 3GW renewable energy pipeline across the region in just three years. With ASEAN projected to account for 25% of global energy demand growth by 2035, our regional footprint positions us well to help power that momentum. We were also delighted to welcome Deputy Prime Minister II to our booth, where he was briefed on Gamuda Technologies’ suite of digital services and solutions. DT Infrastructure is taking concrete steps in advancing the clean energy transition through the delivery of key renewable energy infrastructure. They are applying their engineering and delivery expertise to the renewables sector, undertaking large-scale projects such as the Goulburn River Solar Farm. Once complete, this project will power approximately 225,000 homes and is expected to cut up to 910,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year. Through these projects, DTI is contributing to Australia’s efforts under the Paris Agreement, supporting the nation’s goal of achieving a 43% reduction in emissions by 2030 and moving closer toward a sustainable, low-carbon future. Congratulations to DT Infrastructure together with CPB Contractors on the successful delivery and opening of the Mount Street underpass as part of the Warringah Freeway upgrade. Built ‘upside down’ with the roof constructed first to keep pedestrians moving safely above during excavation — the 46.6-metre-long citybound connection to the Cahill Expressway will ease congestion and benefit over 10,000 motorists daily, improving access to City East, the Eastern Suburbs and Sydney Airport. #Gamuda #DTInfrastructure #TransportInfrastructure #EngineeringExcellence
