We are grateful to receive the Smart Township Malaysia 2025 award for three of our townships during the Majlis Perasmian Sambutan Hari Perancangan Bandar Sedunia at Putrajaya presented by YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and YB Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government. The awards were judged based on how townships adopt forward-thinking initiatives, and across our developments, we integrate smart technologies, eco-innovations, and wellness-focused designs to enhance everyday living through intelligent mobility, IoT-based management, and digital conveniences that make our environments safer, greener, and more efficient. Gamuda Land is pleased to announce its latest acquisition at 14 Marshgate Lane in Stratford, London, a 321-bed Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM600 million. With strong student demand and limited PBSA supply in the UK, this development will provide stable, recurring income while balancing the company’s residential and commercial portfolio mix. This milestone marks a major step forward in our UK growth strategy, reinforcing our commitment to deliver 3,000 student beds across key cities in the next five years and building a diverse, income-generating asset base in resilient sectors.
