22 youth-led projects across 4 regions have been selected for support through the Youth Empowerment Fund 🌍 From community cleanups in Sri Lanka to leadership training in Venezuela and environmental summits in Rwanda, young people are leading the way on issues that matter to them. They will focus on one or more of World Scouting’s Scouts for SDGs educational initiatives: Messengers of Peace, Earth Tribe, LifeLeaders, and HealthAllies. #Scouts across the United Kingdom have made history by coming together to shape the future of their organisation through the first-ever UK Youth Forum. Through local forums and hands-on activities, over 1,400 Scouts shared ideas, hopes, and honest conversations about where they want the Movement to go. Scouts in Kranj, Slovenia just wrapped up another year of their annual clean-up and it wasn’t just about picking up trash. From exploring historic air-raid shelters to hosting tree planting and eco workshops, they brought the whole community together for a shared cause. When devastating floods hit Bahía Blanca, Argentina, Scouts across the country rallied to offer immediate support through the #ScoutsxBahía campaign 💜 Young volunteers quickly mobilised to provide essential aid, setting up community kitchens, sorting donations, and helping families rebuild their homes. Over 200 Scouts in Buenos Aires worked tirelessly, while troops from across the nation sent food, clothing, and supplies to those in need. The ongoing #ScoutsxBahía campaign continues to make an impact, supporting the long road to recovery. Scouts and Guides across Africa and Europe are leading change in peace, sustainability and gender equality 🌱 The PLANETE project supports over 7,000 young people who are turning values into action with camps, trainings and community projects that create real impact. They’re working with local partners, learning from each other and becoming leaders in their communities.
