  • NCCI Katima Mulilo Branch Elects New Leadership The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) is pleased to announce the election of new leadership for its Katima Mulilo Branch, marking a renewed commitment to uniting and empowering entrepreneurs in the Zambezi Region. The branch held its Elective General Meeting on 10 October 2025, where Mrs. Sharon Zibo Limbo was elected Chairperson and Mr. Frankie Mwinga Ntemwa as Vice-Chairperson. The other ExCo members are; Mrs. Mwaka Mukendwa, Mr. Richard Kakona, Ms. Sannety Sanyambe, Ms. Inonge Mabakeng, Ms. Michell Nguvauva, and Ms. Clara Likokoto. The team represents a diverse range of sectors including tourism, horticulture, accommodation, informal trading, fishing and consultancy. In her acceptance remarks, Mrs. Limbo expressed optimism about fostering stronger coordination between business and local authorities, while NCCI CEO Mr. Titus Nampala encouraged the new leadership to champion accountability, inclusivity and proactive engagement. The NCCI congratulates the new ExCo and looks forward to working with the Katima Mulilo Branch to strengthen private-sector representation and advance regional growth.

  • NCCI Re-establishes Divundu Branch The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) is proud to announce the re-establishment of its Divundu Branch, marking a renewed commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and strengthening the voice of the local business community in the Kavango East Region. Held on 9 October 2025, the engagement brought together the Divundu business community for an interactive session led by NCCI Chief Executive Officer Mr. Titus Nampala, who encouraged entrepreneurs to move beyond challenges and work collectively toward practical solutions that create opportunities. The meeting concluded with the election of a vibrant new Executive Committee, led by Chairperson Mr. Mario Sawahenga and Vice-Chairperson Ms. Mittred Kuvuritha Kupepa, alongside Mr. Frans Shinduvi, Ms. Wensel Kana, Mr. Muremi Shinkumi, Mr. Hungamo Kamburi and Mr. Herbert Simasiku - representing a dynamic mix of industries from engineering to catering. Mr. Sawahenga expressed enthusiasm for the task ahead, reaffirming the team’s focus on supporting informal traders, promoting collaboration and fostering unity among entrepreneurs. He underscored the importance of teamwork and inclusivity in driving the branch’s agenda. Mr. Nampala commended the Divundu business community for their initiative and encouraged the new ExCo to take bold steps in transforming Divundu’s forestry and tourism potential into meaningful economic opportunities. “The Chamber stands with you - as partners - in building a community of doers and achievers,” he said.   • NCCI at UNGA80 The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) was honoured to be part of the Namibian Business Delegation to the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York, USA.
