How do you build culture in a remote company? Here is my top tip from 3+ years of Brigital. Early on at Brigital, we realized something was missing. Not the work, not the projects — but the informal chats. Things like: 🔹"How was your trip to the wine farms?" or 🔹"Did your sourdough survive the weekend this time?" or 🔹"Is your dog still terrified of the new houseplants?" So we found a way to bring those moments back: Every month, we host "Community Updates", where we share personal photos and talk about what's going on in our lives. It’s simple, but it’s been one of the biggest drivers of team cultur. Turning colleagues into friends. It's one of my proudest rituals after 3+ years building Brigital remotely. 🚀 What is the thing you like most about office culture?

What if work wasn’t just about office perks... ... but about seeing the world ?🌍 Most companies think building a great culture is about perks, office spaces, or occasional team events. Marco and I have been working together for two years and I wanted to give him an experience he’d never forget: 🌍 A month working in Cape Town—the first time he’s ever left Europe. Not as a vacation, but as a way to: ✅ Strengthen our relationship ✅ Give him a unique life experience as part of his growth ✅ Reward his dedication with more than just a raise We spend so much time talking about “engagement” and “retention.” But the truth? If you invest in your people beyond just work, they’ll invest back in you. 💡 What’s the most meaningful way a company has invested in you?

  • Marco’s journey is a perfect example of why we invest in people, not just resumes. 🚀

A degree in data science? Overrated. Marco proved it’s about mindset, not credentials. When Marco Marocco joined us as an intern, he had zero experience in data analytics—but he had a PhD in civil engineering and a drive to learn. Instead of focusing on what he didn’t know, we focused on what he could learn. 📊 Fast forward two years, and Marco has: ✔ Built Power BI dashboards that teams actually use ✔ Written Python scripts that moved companies from legacy systems to SAP ✔ Now he is running projects, building piplines & reports to improve factory OEE We believe in learning by doing—throwing people into real projects, trusting them, and letting them figure things out. It worked for Marco. It works for us :) 💡 What’s the best lesson you’ve learned outside a classroom?
