🎓 Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming notarial study associations Vevonos Groningen and Broederschap der Notariële Studenten te Leiden (BNSL) to our Eversheds Sutherland Amsterdam office! The day kicked off with an inspiring introduction by our Senior Office Partner, Natascha Geraedts, followed by insightful sessions from our civil-law notaries Wieger ten Hove (Corporate) and Max van Drunen (Real Estate). They shared their experiences, team dynamics, and what it’s really like to work in the field. 💬 After a lively Q&A, we switched gears and headed to an Italian cooking workshop. In small teams, students and colleagues collaborated under time pressure—proving that great teamwork isn’t just for the office! 🍝 The result? Delicious food and even better connections. 🥇 As part of our commitment to being a Responsible Business, some of our Dutch colleagues participated in the Dam tot Dam Run this weekend (see photos below!). The Dam tot Dam Run is a 16.1km run from the heart of Amsterdam all the way to Zaandam. 💌 We were delighted to be raising funds for Voedselbank Amstelveen which is committed to providing families with food when they may, for whatever reason, have run into financial problems. Every euro helps ensure that no family goes without food and we are proud to stand behind such a vital cause.
